Hey guys,

If you are like me, you probably rarely use HE because you only get a small percentage of the advertised damage. You gave up on it long ago and really never used it correctly.

In this video, I show you how to maximize the damage that you can do with each game with just a few simple steps.

Please take a look and don't forget to subscribe.

This is great.

>>>canine prints have claw marks, yet "mans best friend" camo does not; it would seem then that mans best friend is a cat... probably a leopard.

Shooting under a tank and getting splash damage on their (sometimes) weaker undercarriage is really useful when playing tanks like the T49 with its derp gun. Also shooting down on the back engine deck from an elevated vantage point is useful with HE as well.

Your tip about using Calibrated Shells with premium HEAT or using HE primarily to get a +10% pen bonus, really makes this a straightforward decision. Thanks for that!

I take the time to memorize my HE pen numbers on the guns that I use the most. I also take the time to more or less know the rear hull armor on most tanks and know if they are HE pennable. You'd be surprised how many mediums you can pen with HE to the rear and sometimes even to the side, if you can get to a 90 degree angle to their armor. This is the tricky part sometimes.

+1

Very good technical info on a subject on which I know that I’m less than well learned.  I realize that the info is applicable to all tanks, but I was nevertheless hoping you’d also use non-derp heavies for your demos, since more people drive them as do those who use KV-2s and the derpy SUs.  Regardless, another very good vid.
