Could we get an oval map in the next few updates? It will give the 40% map chasers some relevance in a battle.

Agreed.  Plenty of green teams just make a circuit around the map, not realizing they can turn around when necessary.

That would involve some of them having a clue about the map or the minimap.

I swear some of these folks think maps are endless and if they keep going they reach a lot of gold or something.

I think 5.5 was good for the game - But I also want my Kenny OP nerfed

In my admittedly *very* limited observation, it seems like the map gets used a lot more in III, IV and V than in the upper tiers, where heavies and mediums dig in at the closest piece of cover and sit. Don't dare ask them to climb the hill in M'Burg, or fight in the dunes in the desert maps, or...

I'm sure there are good reasons for this, it's just battles seem to last longer and are more fun at the lower tiers, where tanks are scattered like cockroaches under a kitchen light.

I have an idea.

WG could make a map with a trail of buildings that lead to the hills.

Only if the hills are on the out exterior of the map.  The unreachable hills might make player try them on other maps.

Hmmm..

These townies are trickier than I thought.

When I saw the title of this post, I thought it would be about the tanks, not the map.

The idea behind NASCAR type races, is that all the cars are essentially equal design builds, so racers aren’t competing against better designed cars, but solely against other racers. No one can say “the guy in the better car won”. Only the racers individual skill determines the winner, not the quality of his hardware.

Ive always thought a game mode, where this type of battle was an option, would be interesting.

WG had an event about a year ago, where everyone was temporarily given a WWI Mark 1 tank and choosing it would put you in a battle where everyone had the same tank. I think this type of battle would really show a person’s true skill level.

Yeah, I'm back. Let's not make a big deal about this.

I'd support this, but I know while we'd all be expecting Talladega, WG would give us Bristol.

All I can think of after reading this is 7v7 obj140s like the old old twister teams

>>>canine prints have claw marks, yet "mans best friend" camo does not; it would seem then that mans best friend is a cat... probably a leopard.

They'd get lost in a straight line.

"In this game you’re either a predator or you’re prey.

Prey doesn’t win at the same ratio as the predators because prey doesn’t have the same attitude. Unfortunately their are are not enough predators to keep the prey in check and  the prey is running rampant. Prey doesn’t care about WR, either directly or indirectly. Thats why they do what they want, that’s why the game has been dumbed down and  that’s why MH was brought about. Without a check it will continuously get worse until the predators are extinct" 4sfield

We’d still have to call directions. I’m not sure if the nubs know they’re supposed to turn left.
