OK, I don't gamble with money.   So I had 54,000 free XP floating around after a huge premium vehicle binge (I haven't been spending on the tech tree), so I excused gambling as it not being actual cash, but Free XP, so I dropped 50,000 Free XP on a crate with big hopes in mind.  

I got 10 candy canes, and 10 crew boosters. 

Do you know what the fcuk else I have after my huge premium binge?   About 189 epic crew boosters.

Yup, I had been spamming premiums on my HanYolo_ account to accumulate elite and free XP thinking that I would use free XP in the event. Then I saw that it's only good for crates that don't look appealing.

 

The free XP will now go to modules and the elite XP will get golded into my crew skills.

I was thinking about using a50k free xp on a box but ill use it on isu gun instead

Just like with other events, even if you don't put NEW $ into the game, WG will allow you to empty your game savings; emptying the gold you have and draining the FREEXP that you ever so slowly accumulated.

 

Whatever the event they first allowed that, it was obvious that there was a golden shiny carrot being dangled and one could blow through 500000 FREEXP with pretty much nothing to show for it. I gave it two "free" spins ... yeah. Not dumping years worth of savings for 99% poosters I have and never use and 0.1% to win the main prize.

yeah, as if there weren't enough videos already of people spending a buttload of cash on crates and getting only garbage poosters.  I had to join the ranks of idiots.

I wasted 100k free xp but at least got some gold in return.

Life is a learning experience. Some people don’t worry about $10. Others have higher thresholds ... I spend a little bit,minimally probably by all standards,  when we go to Vegas .... I’m just totally against online gambling and especially in games kids play.

They are going to have to watch it. Some countries have already decided to make loot boxes illegal.

you are dead on right.  I've used up my saved resources in this event for nothing, now I'll likely spend $ to replace it.  WG is genius at bleeding someone. 

I've been outsmarted     That's not saying much, but gg WG.

never been to Vegas, I'd all too quickly find myself at the "Guess a Number" table with Randy Quaid.

I have 500K free xp, and all tier 9 researched. I’ll just spend them even though I expect only super tons of boosters that I never use either (because I already have all tier9 researched).
