only the t20 is best in class for speed. Sherman is 2nd slowest tech tree medium at tier vi and Pershing is third slowest at tier viii. Patton ties for third slowest tech tree medium at tier ix. Yes. They are slow.

I've driven them for years, not slow at all, certainly doesn't feel sluggish. After driving the type 59 and t-54 for a while, they take forever to reach top speed.

Even then, top speed is only one factor of mobility.

Hans, get the Luger.

I didn’t say they were bad. Just slow. The American medium line is my favorite one. They have other things going for them but of all the medium lines require the most skill IMO to play to their strengths. I have been playing them longer. They are slow.

By t54 I assume u mean mod1 bc tier 9 t54 is quite the scuttle butt.

The Patton line is a ton of fun to play. DPM and accuracy are OP as a supporting or flanking medium.

I drove the tier 9 t-54, not much torque in the engine at all,

Slow in what way? top speed? 48 kph isn't ideal, but all factors of mobility considered, they have good traverse speed on most, they accelerate fine, and have quite good ground resistance, at least on the tier 9 and 10.

I mean, the centurion 7/1 only goes 40, but the engine is monstrously powerful,

Opposite of the scale for the E50, now that i think about it, it has rather good top speed, but turns like a boat, and very slow acceleration unless you're going down hill.
