First of all, Virginia, which is close enough... its migrated northwards (maybe due to global warming?)

Second of all, thanks, but nobody actually would want to meet me, unless of course they like twiddling about in silent awkwardness as I inappropriately interject slow-spoken ramblings, awaiting the moment I'll say something in my raging Aspiedom that will invariably piss them and several bystanders completely off, at which point I'll make a surreptitious, ignominious, and welcomed exit in my plain white Suby granolamobile to the cloistered depths of my edit cave.

My wife is from SC, she was very excited about me trying cheerwine while we were there.  Due to false advertising [wine should have alcohol!] I wasn't the biggest fan.

Second of all, funny sh it like that is why everybody wants to hang out with you.

A good heavy driver knows how to make shots bounce off their armor, how to use cover while fighting at the front, when to get out there and just take the shot to protect his team, to keep the reds attention focused so his team can flank, and to consistently do damage while all of that happens.

I'm glad to have met some other Blitz players and forum types thanks to the get-togethers Slayer used to make happen.  It really helped the community feel of the game.

Most anyone present on this forum who I have chatted with in game is someone I'd enjoy the chance to meet.

I do have to admit though, it would be cool to have a Cheerwine-only drinking contest with Blartch.

Any forumers in the Houston area?  I could meet up at a bar or something.....

I'm surprised that no one wants to talk to the lovely character that is me...

Being completely honest however, meeting SD and Crusader would be an absolute joy, although I'm fairly certain I'd grate on their nerves in a matter of minutes; it's just how I am IRL. Brain goes a mile a minute and whatnot.

Wow, I totally misread that at first glance.

Mostly the old guys like me.   I’d be down for a meet up in the DC metro area.  Somewhere with good beer.

I try to avoid DC Metro like a plague, but I could be convinced to meander towards that way.

   Maybe Arlington area?

There are several NoVa/ MD folks around.

I always get Cheerwine when we go to Cookout. It just seems to be the most appropriate beverage. They actually have one in Mississippi.

Arlington works as does points west.  There's a new brew pub that just opened in Fairfax I'd like to try.  http://www.ornerybeer.com/

A few folks in my clan know my real identity, as did CrimsonJaeger (going to stay sad about her passing, well, forever). I'd love to have a beer or bourbon with several of you. As SD says, you know who you are.

When you guys all get together, just be sure to let them know which ones your daughter works at, so there’s no awkwardness later.

Dammit, I just cleaned this keyboard and now there’s Diet Coke all over it.

Yeah, I'm back. Let's not make a big deal about this.
