so I’ve eschewed light tanks for the most part.  I’ve fiddled around with them from time to time, but never seemed suited for light tank game play.  Gonna dedicate to learning and exploiting the light tank style.  To that end, I’ve gotta start grinding at eith er the Chaffee or the Mt 25 for the M41 Bulldog or LTTB, respectively.  Watched a Bushka video and he loves the LTTB, and panned the Bulldog, but that was before the Bulldog buff.  Is there some consensus on which tank is better, post M41 buff?  I’ll be happy to read of anyone’s experiences and opinions.  Thanks.

Was his LTTB vid before or after the armor nerf? It still have better armor than the Bulldog but not as strong as before. It's all up to your playstyle. They're both popular tanks but the armor on the Bulldog gets people into trouble. Bulldog has more DPM but dies more.

Chaffee was reconfigured after 5.5 and the jury is still out on how it fits. MT-25 is solid and very fun (though some of my friends hate it, they are wrong of course).

Two years ago I'd say the LTTB (the Bulldog wasn't around then anyway) but now I'd say the Bulldog.  The LTTB has been heavily nerfed and is a shell of what it once was.

Rest in Peace CJ.  You will be missed.

Bushka vid was in May of ‘17, before the M41 buff.  I suppose, based on current configurations, what’s the preferred light tank platform to chase?  Leaning toward the LTTB,but the M41 DPM and the fact I can get the T49 after is appealing as well.

Thanks for the replies.

Bulldog if for nothing other than the t49. Both a re a blast however.

Sometimes, you just gotta sit back and watch them all burn. Don't forget to bring popcorn. You're going to need a snack.

I mean, it looks like the M41 has better pen, better DPM at current WG parameters, but I’ve seen so many vids of people flying and sliding in the LTTB.  Looks like a blast.  I may be leaning American.

Oh man... I’m leaning M41... somebody give me a reason to go with the LTTB. If the darn grind wasn’t so tough , I’d just say I’ll do both

lttb has mad acceleration, probably the fastest in the game under the drac? It still has some troll armor after the nerf. It powerslides when it wants to, lol

The crucial difference IMO is the prammo, reasonably effective APCR for the LTTB versus what I'd swear is the most unreliable ultra-bee-ess burns-credits-for-no-effect HEAT for the Bulldog.

Well, the T54 Ltwt is really great. I am not really that fond of the Bulldog or the LTTB. I would say go LTTB just because all of the tanks after it are awesome.

Both are really quick. Both are great for learning light tanks. I've never played the Bulldog, but it's a more traditional light I think, due to its utter absence of armor (LTTB has 70 mm slopped on the front; used to be 90, but it's still usable in specific situations, unlike any of the Bulldog's armor).

Both would be fun though!

I love the ones that need it most.
