WG please consider; 1) adding a players military honor (colored dot?), and WR% to the pre-battle screen.  This will allow team mates to make a semi informed judgement when a player suggests a movement direction or strategy.  Too often, decent team mates follow directions given by knowledgeable players.  At least they would be able to "consider the source" if the information was provided.   2) a means to balance platoon strengths better.  it seems that grossly mismatched platoons have been occurring with greater frequency.  In a 7-v-7 format it makes for pre-determined games.  consider having MM place platoons on 1 team only if a balanced match is not available.  that would be a better game than a platoon of two 41%'ers in KV-2s, vs two 68%'ers in fast meds

I have never liked the idea of in battle wr. 1 people will tunnel the 60%ers. 2 people on your team may give up, or lose hope when they see better players on red.

I agree with what Texas said. Anyone with a blue win rate is going to get tunneled. That wouldn't work out so well.

Sadly if you balance platoons by winrate that means wait times so long in the NA server it effectively kills tooning.

Military Honor needs to be deleted. It's useless in judging player quality.

Agreed on putting winrate AND BATTLE COUNT visible to friendlies.

I just judge them by the clan they are in, if they are in a popular clan iv'e heard of, or highly skilled/prestigious, i target them.

I applied a platinum avatar so people would tunnel me harder. More damage for me.

It's a valid tactic if done with some intelligence. For one, if you pin a lynchpin of a team, they can't do critical actions elsewhere. For another, taking out a big threat quickly eases off the pressure on your team. Conversely, most people yolo focus and do things dumb. This leads to overexposing, suicide tactics, getting decimated by the rest of the reds, and general dumb-assery contrary to team play tactics and usually result in a steam roll one way or the other. 

 

I'm more of an opportunist. I shoot what i can, kill what i can, hinder and harry what i cant hurt, and basically act as a jack of all. I dont consider myself good enough to call myself a master of any of the skills i use, but I'd like to think that im ahead of the curve on most those fronts. 


I may have a few too many tanks. I think I was over 150 in garage by last count.

This style of pre battle screen is widely used in World of Tanks. The mod is called XVM. It doesn’t change tunneling IMO. But it does help people understand who may have more of a clue at the beginning of the battle. I think Military Honor needs to be removed and a prebattle WR code needs implemented.  Military Honor is a joke.

XVM causes AFK's, yolo's, artillery and TD tunneling.
