I can't remember the last time I have had to carry a team since 5.7 came out. Everything is 7-0, 7-1, or 7-2. Individual skill means nothing now. When I win, it's a blowout. When I lose, it's a blowout. This isn't about carrying harder. It's about changes to RNG and apparently MM. The game is different now. I don't like it.

Try spending some money.

"Blitz" can't exist within a world of TDs.

don't let it get to you man, probably nothing changed. Just tough luck with teams. Put the game down. I started playing other games on the side and not playing just blitz exclusively and it's done wonders for me.

You're having a bad streak of games. I've had them, we've all had them.

Conversely, you don't see many people coming on here complaining about all their win streaks and blowouts against the Reds.

WHO NEEDS ARTY WHEN YOU’VE GOT RNG TO MAGICALLY SCREW YOU?

I appreciate the encouragement, everyone. That does help. But it's not just bad games. I've won plenty lately 7-0, 7-1. To me, those are just as unsatisfying as losses since the other team just got rolled.

Not exactly a blowout, but a good game nonetheless.

It's been like this since they shuffled around the MM from -2/+2 to -1/+1. Less discrepancy between tiers also adjusts the values in the tank/driver equation.

Everyone gets placed on even footing, more or less. This results in the individual getting marginalized while quantity of guns surpasses quality. Example: you might beat them in a one on one if similarly equipped, but the odds against you increase considerably when it's you against multiple similarly equipped enemy tanks. The best strategy in today's WoTB is to outnumber, or at least try to match, the enemy. Here is where splitting up can often lead to steamrolls.

it leads to steamrolls because most players don't understand the game mechanics plain and simple. I know two good players can hold off 4 crap players but 4 crap players cant hold their own beer.

^ ^^

it has been some major complain for as far as the game was released.

however mm+-1 made it much more prevalent.

and I have the feelings that trying to match similar tanks on both sides increasingly  in the past few years has just dug the ditch a bit deeper.

its the domino effect. U have same tanks on both sides. One of them unlucky noob dies first.

how are you going to overcome this ?

Teams have the same tanks from the same tiers, so u can’t plan to get an advantage of terrain speed dPM or anything. Plus not u are outnumbered everywhere, and it’s just downhill from there.

The Playerbase in its immense wisdom has lob yield for years to get this result. Praise the Playerbase !

most players have always been fairly weak in game but the steamrolls are something more recent. Back in 2014-2015, it was kinda rare to see one team make it to the end of a battle without losing a tank

Great find Dan. Was that about 4-5 months after this game was released?

It is kind of funny to hear people lament about "new" problems in the game as they remember how "great Blitz used to be."
