I feel the avatars have really gotten people all bent out of shape, especially when it comes to receiving them in containers, and even I myself find them to be quite lame and lacking in quality, detail and purpose in some cases.

An idea that had come to mind to potentially make them more purposeful, especially to those who don't want to pay gold or find them pointless, was when you get special achievement avatars like you get already for ratings battles, you could also get other avatars such as kolabanovs, pools, or mastery badge ones that come with differing scales of time depending on their significance.

I believe it's great way to temporarily show off your most recent achievements.

Probably still wouldn't use them.

The point of the avatars was for you to spend money to get them.

The point of Avatars is to let u know at the start of a match who the most inexperienced and new players are.

Actually this is what we plan to do. I mentioned it several times - there will be avatars given for ingame achievements.

I notice that. Especially those who spend their time reading avatars threads and leaving comments there.

Have you noticed all the people reading and posting about helping improve the player base with ideas mentioned over and over? Asking for a friend.

Wow, really this post didn't have anything to do with wether people like the avatars or not, and honestly I couldn't give a damn about liking or disliking them.

I simply put this on here because when I first contacted the support team about this idea they suggested making a post here instead. Yet I cringe everytime I make a post on here though, because I've read through many of the comments on this forum and know that 90% of responses have little to do with the actual point of many originals posts.

The whole point of this post was avatars are kind of lame, useless, and lack detail/design. Unfortunately most of the comments completely disregarded the actual point and went on about unconstructive useless nonsense.

Bring back creativity and constructive feedback, and we may slowly start seeing things we actually damn well want or don't want in the game.

Just stop with the nonsense, if you're going to comment, take a good look at what you wrote and take into consideration the actual point of the original post, if it's not constructive or useful to the point of the original post, just erase it, hit the back button a few times, and just forget about it.

May you all have a great time tanking!

This cracked me up on a couple of levels:teethhappy:

1. You were spot on.

2. It would not be appropriate to discuss my very first experience which was clumsy and clueless, executing "The Shocker" on the Love of my life who would become my Wife years later. 8 Years later, she still points and laughs when the memory is triggered.

Thanks for the Laugh, needed it tonight.

For Gods sake... If you insist on putting them in containers, stop letting them take the place of whatever else I would have received in the container. I don't care how "rare" an avatar is, there is no excuse for a Huge container to have only an avatar.

How about fixing auto-complete during the game? Gawddamn, you guys waste a lot of time and energy with crap that doesn’t improve the game experience for the great majority of people. Avatars? What are we; 12?
