Same issue, with the vehicle intermittently stopping - it generally occurs when moving and rotating the turret, but also when just moving.  Movement joystick is both very sensitive and inconsistent.  3rd generation iPad Pro 12.9”.

Can you play with your 12.9" at all?  I can EITHER move the tank OR aim, but not both at the same time.  And even movement is very specific compared to all the other iOS devices I've tried (iPhone 6, iPhone 8, iPad Mini 3, iPad Pro 12.9" 1st gen).

I've given up playing WOTB until this issue is addressed.

Still broken/unchanged in 5.9.0.

HELLO WARGAMING?!?!?  Support tickets showing the issue, posting in this thread, posting in the bugs thread here hasn't helped.

Should I give up?

Agreed war gaming. Something seriously has changed with the joystick performance for the worst. Nearly total lack of control. Bad....been like this for a while now, at least 2-3 updates.

I don't see why these issues haven't been fixed over the course of several updates and many months.  Wargaming has the details, so it's not a question of not knowing that there's a problem.

I have the iPad Pro 10.5 (2017) version, and I have noticed couple of times when I hit the fire button with my right thumb, it does not respond.  I had the press it about 3-4 times until it works.. this has never happened before the new updates. So something is not right on this update for iPad Pro devices...

I have trouble with the fire button also. I wish there was some kind of a controller I could use like on a PC.

Here's the sluff-off answer I got from support today:

 Hello,

Unfortunately this issue is still being investigated, therefore we can't offer you any solution.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

As was mentioned before, most likely the issue will be rectified with one of the future updates.

Looking forward to your understanding.

"Most likely rectified"??

I did the same.  I sent a video and lots of details on the issue to support several months ago.  There's no question that they know about it.

If you can afford a 13 inch iPad Pro,

youd think Wargaming would want your business....

Yeah, I'm back. Let's not make a big deal about this.

Bushka has complained about touch issues with his. He has no problem with other games and reckons it's something to do with the game client itself.

As far as I have heard (limited to wotb circles, clan, forum) the only program with an issue is wotb.

I have seen Bushka play pubg for hours without issue or mention of trouble, while using max graphics and tethered to his computer for streaming.

He gets wotb going and within minutes his controls get periodically locked out ...

I don’t know if he has tried different settings.

The only thing I know, related to control issues, is that on my iPad Air 2 the first year or so, I could play tethered to the charger ... then suddenly, doing so after a couple battles my tank would be out of control, would drive weirdly, auto fire, ... regardless of charge level, cable brand and length, ... even tethered to the computer. Which killed the idea of recording some games for educational purpose at the time. Only had the issue with wotb and while tethered. Something internal was messing with the touch layer ...

I think most people play untethered though ... or we would have heard by now if it is fine one way or not.

The issues on my iPad Pro are consistent.  It's not intermittent.  And I don't play tethered.

Support had me test multi-touch on my iPad.  Everything is fine.  It's not a hardware issue.  It's a brand new 3rd Gen tablet.  And couple dozen other apps I use work fine.

I'm confident that this is a WOTB issue.  I bet if someone at Wargaming picks up a 3rd Gen 12.9" iPad Pro the issues will be evident within the first ten seconds.

Here's the latest reply from support.

Our developers are aware of this issue and are looking into solving it.
Unfortunately, we can't help you at the moment.

But that's been the gist of their replies for months now.

Ive had these exact issues described by several players here. Tank moves, suddenly stops. Cant shoot straight. Toggling forward and reverse sends me into an unintended tail spin. Constantly having to come out of binoculars to correct disoriented tank angles. Ive seen a performance decline since July 2017, but these last few updates have taken it to a whole advanced level of bad. Shows up very clearly as i sadly review my stats per battle and over 30,60,90 day periods and longer. Graphs show a very ugly, dark nose-dive spike straight down with nose signs of recovery. Due to this, dishearteningly issue, Im now playing far less. (maybe that is best anyway) It isn't worth the frustration, and when I am suddenly playing (performing) so badly that I'm nearly useless, I suffer, the team suffers, and I questioning... what’s the point?

The problem still happens with update 6.

I've pretty much lost hope that Wargaming will fix the problem with the iPad Pro 12.9" 3rd Gen that makes the game unplayable.

- I've reported the issue several times in the bug threads on this forum.

- I've opened several support tickets.

- I've recorded video of the issue and identified the issue for support as existing ONLY on the iPad Pro 12.9" 3rd Gen and not my iPhone 8 or iPad Mini

- I've eliminated the iPad multitouch being an issue by buying and running several testing apps.

In version 6 the problem is slightly better (it's intermittent now -- about 50% of the time instead of 100% of the time) but the game is unplayable.

After almost 25,000 WOTB battles, I give up.  I don't care about new camo or new tanks or new avatars.  All of that stuff is [edited]when the issue is that I can't play the game on my device.  Almost four months after I first posted here about this, this still hasn't been fixed.  I don't get it.

Just tried to play in a training room in new 6.2 update.   The game is still unplayable with iPad 12” gen 3.

Yet another reason not to reward WG with $$$.

I’ll remain a Free to Play player until WG can fix ‘playability’ issues.

Yep, after several years of playing WOTB every day, I've given up on Wargaming fixing the issue.  I've reported the issue, replicated it, recorded videos, helped them test and confirm the problem and waited and waited for a fix that never shows up.  The game is not playable on the iPad 12.9" 3rd Generation and they don't care.  Soon it will be a gear since the 3rd Gen iPad was released.

I stopped playing a few weeks ago.  If Wargaming doesn't care, I won't care.

I stopped playing on iPad Pro 12.9 3rd gen due to the on going problems. Back to using the iPad Pro 12.9 1st gen. Still have issues, but not nearly as troubling as with my 3rd gen. Really disheartening because stupid me bout the new one thinking it would be better and  almost 100% for the game only. Whadda genius I am... Not!
