Okay, so I am new to these forums. I have never posted anything here, but I just wanted to throw my thoughts out there. After update 5.5, there has been a huge gap between tier IV and tier V. Ideally, it would be great to put the game back to its former state, but there is no way that would happen. Instead, I would just like to suggest that they should fix the low tiers up better. They should fix the damage of the guns. An example: you go to battle in your tier IV. You output 90-150 damage every 10-11 seconds, meanwhile, the tier V's are outputting 120-200 in 6-8. It is quite frustrating that it takes so much time to do so little. What makes it worse is that the guns usually have a set in stone damage. The calibers usually all have the same damage. (ex: 105 mm does 310, 75 does 160) It is a bit weird that 75/76 mm at tier IV are different than all the rest. It honestly makes no sense why they would both nerf the damage and the rate of fire. These changes were supposed to "help new players." This does not help new players at all, because the uptiered matches will destroy them. All the guns at the low tiers are way slower and smaller. Tier I-IV guns are doing way smaller amounts of damage with a poor rate of fire. This is just my opinion, and it is okay if you disagree.

But what do you guys think? Should they buff the damage or rate of fire? Or do you think that its fine the way it is?

Do nothing. There is nothing really to see there at tier 4. Finish the grind and move on. It will take you maybe 15-30 battles depending on the tank. Plus by the time they buff anything you could already be to tier 7 or 8.

Tbh, nerfing tier 1-4 only encouraged new players to stick to bumper car tactics and face tanking.

They never learned basic tactics like side-scraping, hulling down, spotting, etc.

Especially when the value of each successful shot has little returns, due to small amounts of damages,

everyone's just tunneling each other and hoping to be the last one to explode.

So when all these sheltered snowflakes meet their first tier 5 enemies they get utterly annihilated.

There's a huge skill gap that tier-4 players must conquer, all the while fighting in their under-performing nerf tanks.

Bottom tier 1-4 is slighly harder vs higher tier than before with the loss of 1 provision.. But just wait til your T5 with 1 reg.food n 1 reg. fuel vs a Tier 6 running dual foods n 1 super fuel, its almost like a bastardized version of +2 MM.

The 105 fires HE which is why it has a higher alpha and that is the nerfed version.

Tier 4 is really terrible now. Tiers 1-3 are no problem, but 4 is badly outmatched against tier 5.

But bail_out is right, just finish the grind and move on. It won't take long.

I am not sure if you understood me @Morphman11, or maybe I misunderstood you... I was using the 105mm as an example of set in and stone damage per calibers. 105 mm guns typically do 310. 75mm guns typically do 160. I was just pointing out that it makes no sense why 75 mm at tier IV do 120 instead of 160.
