Which gun? There are two top guns, one being an autoloader and as expected it has less pen, less gunhandling, and less dpm. Is one gun clearly superior or is this a choice based on your perferred playstyle? Also, Advanced assembly or Enhanced armor. I usually go with the extra hp in lights because you arent going to bounce anything, but does the enhanced armor keep you from getting frontally HE penned from smashers, kv2, su 152 etc? Thanks in advance.

In my opinion as a light tank expert, I would not go with the autoloader, you have to expose too much to take advantage of it.  Also, it's armored in wet tissue paper.  Using dry tissue paper (enhanced armor) won't make much difference.

Also, I'm not a light tank expert.  And my wife tells me my opinions are stupid.  So take it with a grain of salt.  Plus you're a way better player anyway, so there's three reasons not to listen to me.

If it burns when I pee, does that mean I wouldn't be a good fireman?

I use top gun. Pen and alpha and just like Cletus said. With high camo skill I am reloaded before I need to expose and ready to drop in 3... 2... 1... poke.

I don't go town and I won't go down so WarGaming is just ******* with me when they built a town on a hill.

My wife is a natural redhead.  I don't allow her to have any guns.  That's how I'm still alive today.

Spartacus recommended the M32 gun awhile back, I ditched the auto loader and haven’t looked back since.

In a light tank an auto loader can be pressure sum.

Honestly I think it’s more of a personal preference. Both guns have their advantages. The auto loader can be devastating against other mediums and lights but often struggles (pants pen values) against armor. The single shot is more versatile and allows a more vanilla playstyle. Poke, shoot, reset camo and repeat.

I used to have a picture here but tiny pic took an arrow to the knee....

Single shot is a hoot.

Under 4 sec without equipment, provisions, skills, etc.

Allows you to stand a chance vs heavies.

I used the non auto loader.  I just couldn’t make the auto loader work for all the reasons you noted.

I hated that tank, played it before the buffs ughhh. I preferred to fail with the single shot

You know what's not wrong with vanilla? It's an ice cream flavor.

Is devastating an ice cream flavor? No. Patooie.

Definitely the single shot. Abuse the camo reset.

The only advantage I found was the auto loader seemed to surprise a lot of people as were expecting a reload time, then Bam, next Shell. Overall though I prefer the top gun. :playing:

I played it with the single-shot.  That gave me a more sustained ability to plink shells harmlessly off IS-*'s from all angles.  If you prefer to plink shells harmlessly in bursts, then you should go for the autoloader.

My wife is a natural red head.  I only allow her to drive smart cars with pillows duct taped to the body work.  That is the only way anybody else on the road is alive today.

Autoloader is significantly more situational.

I second this. Also, I think the single shot got more from the buff than the autoloader. I'd previously considered them equal, but now I say single shot all the way.

Plus you get that cooler looking muzzle break:
