What are your thoughts of the AMX M4 m 49?     Just got blasted by on cause of the fast reload in a WZ-110

Reload time?  Worth it?

Was saving my gold for something really good, but wondering if the Lupus (great win rate on wot compare), Drac  or another collectible will ever come back in the store.

Extremely good frontal armor, a nice gun, and a premium. Not a bad machine at all. The side and rear armor is atrocious though, so don’t expose it unless you want to get paddled

Basically this. NEVER expose your side and rear and you should be fine, especially against lower tiered opponents. Your turret is pretty troll as well, and can bounce even some really high pen guns.

It's a solid tank in good hands, but not OP.. it's essentially what the Tiger II should be.

And with WarGaming's new business plan there seems to be no end of great tanks for sale..  so just wait for something that pushes your buttons.

DMG has it in the top echelon of t8 heavies.

Here's what he says about it:

"The French should be proud.  A heavy tank that has some armor is finally here, and boy is it good.  Sporting one of the best sets of traits at tier 8 , this tank brings the mobility of an IS-X, the penetration and handling of a tiger 2, the armor profile + gun depression of an EXP, and puts it all in a single tank.  All for the low price of ~$50.  Pay to win conspiracy theorists now have another tank they can cry about.  The legendary camo is a little overdone, but that is a small price to pay (~$5) because for once, the French aren't retreating!"
