I don't really hate any map. Some I like more than others of course. But certain maps are bad in certain tanks and will just give you fits. Case in point, you drive a tank like a Predator or a Vindicator, ( Yea I know, why right?) Lol! Anyway, maps like mines at spots, or Faust, and many others you have to be very careful getting caught in areas where you have no gun depression, and guys who do will cut you to pieces while you can't touch them. Sure you can plan to be a place where you can make use of what you have well. But eventually you will move to help someone, or chase someone and then get wrecked easily. One of the biggest things in this game as said before is map knowledge, and how it effects each individual tanks characteristics. You find unique or go to areas of different maps for each tank to get into it's sweet spot to keep it working in it's strong point.

I read from somewhere on the forums that going to the mill is a necessary sacrifice if youre a heavy. I also hate the map when Im a heavy and meds fk up their flank and you get crossfired. Maybe do a blitzkrieg attack before you can get flanked.

Go to castle and mess up a med ;)

The only time I got to mill hill is in a good turret Heavy with depression (T30 can count) and I have confidence in the Meds and have a known TD in overwatch -  so basically never these day.

A Russian IS-7 or similar speed heavy I will rush thru towards the ramps below cap - you can proxy spot folks in “Bushka’s Spot” as well as annoy folks trying to get to the mill hill.

I think 5.5 was good for the game - But I also want my Kenny OP nerfed.
Sorry I haven’t aced the Smasher yet - So I’m still ruining tier 6-8

I'll go hill and spot out the reds on the other side.  You gotta be defensive, and you have to be ready to back down the hill quick if your team, especially your meds, aren't doing their jobs.  If they are doing their jobs, I'll usually try to get some shots in towards the castle or town to help the meds gain control of those spots, while occasionally shooting towards their heavies/td's, just to keep their attention.  If the meds are sniping in the TD spots instead of securing the castle you'll need to get off the hill and play defense, hope for the reds to make mistakes.

I find Castilla really depends on the meds/lights doing their jobs, and anything in Blitz that requires other tanks to do their jobs is likely to end in failure.

A good heavy driver knows how to make shots bounce off their armor, how to use cover while fighting at the front, when to get out there and just take the shot to protect his team, to keep the reds attention focused so his team can flank, and to consistently do damage while all of that happens.

I usually go hiding in the houses around B on Castilla in a med/light and try to cross fire heavies at C.   Unfortunately crossfire works both ways when red meds go A and on the hill behind me.   Goes either way, I either get a golden M at Castilla or ~0 damage, never a "normal" game there.
It's a game, not a d!ck.   Don't take it so hard.
