If any tank has Anti-Camo, it has to be the Grille.  I'm sitting in a bush with camo set, all the way at the edge of the map, not moving, spotted by tanks completely on the other side of the map.  Not, one, but three.  4 quick HE shells and my dead still grill with camo set is dead.  Game over for me, not 1 minute into the game.

Your Grille might have anti-camo (much more likely that you were spotted by an unseen light / med tank or you shot)  but your Grille clearly has paid for MM. You’re averaging .68 DR .37 KDR and survive 16% of the time and yet have a WR of 50.8% win rate. That’s actually a more interesting post. So every cloud?

Just shows how much he got carried in the last 30 days..... 900 avrg dmg in a TD at tier X is like your team has one player less every time you spawn on their side....

Exactly hes a -1 player on every team. Id recommend you watch how to reset cammo, have a general idea of how much a tank can get near you to get spotted and watch some videos of how pro players play effectively with the grille.

Look dude from what Ive seen from your stats you currently lack the skill for that TD line. Try to quit tier X for a while, people will thank you, and research the soviet object 268 TD line its very noob friendly. Also how come you have 40% win rate with type 59???? Try to get the vehicles you play the most to 50% win rate and youll see a massive improvement.

Get a Mutant. You'll feel much better about trying to hide the Grille.

first of all read about the game mechanics attentively.

http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Battle_Mechanics

I have read it every time I needed, for years. I still read them from time to time.

Secondly, publish the replay. Tales and cries without a replay will not help u and will just bother people

thirdly, when something like that happen, I always ask the reed team for a replay. I beg, spam, and 2/3 of the times I get a replay from the other side. Especially in NA where there are mostly 2 languages spoken, instead of 20.

4th with that replay and running it in map inspector, u will find who spotted u.

I’m very sorry to have to say it bluntly to you, but for now you seem to have no clue about how to play this game successfully. And I define good chances of success by more than 50% chances of winning a battle when it starts. Every one befor eu has been there, and all good players had to swallow their pride and work it up.

I can help u but I won’t cry with u.

good luck.

Grilles are difficult tanks to play well, I personally only bring mine out to collect the anniversary bonus. I’ve seen them played great, and many more times not. I am mostly in the “not” category. I believe those here telling you to consider a different line have a point, both the 263 and 268 are much easier to do well in. :bush:

You can pretend to have seen what actually happened if it makes you feel all nice and warm.

nobody has seen what happened except u

until u publish ur replay this thread is useless.

Everyone says u aren’t playing this game right, and in fact for that nobody needs to watch this game.

I understand how you feel. I do not understand spotting mechanics and I believe it is inconsistent. Often I am sitting behind a bush with no red in sight and I am hit by a shell. My warning light does not turn on prior to the shell. Often the shell comes across the map and their is a white line that follows the shell.  If I’m behind a bush and don’t fire how can I be spotted with no tanks around me.

Sometimes i I hit a tank in the field and then it disappears only to re spawn in another location. how does it do this if I just hit it , how does it disappear.

Lets make something clear: the light bulb only appears 3 seconds after you are spotted....and even if you do not see any tanks does not mean they cannot see you.

Also, a lot of common prefire spots exist : For example on Yamato Harbour, both of the td spots are easily prefirable.

This is easy to explain. In the example you give, you can’t see the Red tank. One of your team mates can see it and communicates its position to you. When your team mate loses line of sight the Red tank vanishes. You or someone else might see it shortly after and so it reappears.

This leads to the situation where tanks appear and disappear, which is unfortunate but part of the game mechanics.

I am confused by this statement - if you don’t understand how the sight mechanic works (plenty of YouTube videos) how can you say it is inconsistent?

You can hit things you can’t see - you understand that you can blindfire?

And my post explained why you “see” the red tank. Did you read my post or just “see” it?
