Played it mostly stock(i free xped the frst gun) from 75 % crew....I notice that my spotting rate is way higher than the average...

Am I playing the tank wrong?

I play it usually as a second line tank that tries to spot every red(and keep them spotted if I dont get light bulbed myself) before getting in the said second line....should I just snipe in it ? should I play more passive?

I use the auto-loader because it lets you put 450 dmg in a tank that just shot... and the 10 sec reload is long enough to relocate and reset camo.

I just want to see what you guys think.

It’s a front line brawler.

It’s a fun tank if played correctly. Spot, but get down if spotted, assist with damage, and play like you’re an assassin. Kill the low health strays and run! And use that rear mounted turret to your advantage.

survival rate would probably be the main thing to work on, right?

tough saying just from stats and not seeing yah play, but maybe a touch more harassment of engaged or isolated targets, as opposed to engaging from the same area for too long? try to be quicker to disengage, pick safer fights, preserving hp...

kill 'em later, stay alive now kinda thing.

it should be mentioned that i was awful with the spice panzer, so feel free to ignore all that.

Used to love the tank. Hated it when they neutered the gun. Hardly played it since the subsequent buffs. It's now decent but i still dont like it much.

Anywho, my playstyle was to get early passive spots. Once you know the general enemy layout, pop a shot and bail if you can or wait for an opportunity to strike. Just bailing works too if it's too risky. The tank works best as a 2nd line support gun, sorta like a mobile TD (or at least it was with that old penetration value. Dunno about now). If/when I ever play the tank now, im usually tunning passive spots and 2nd line support wit the single shot gun (autoloader pissed me off). If you're not behind hard cover by the time somebody has trained their gun on you, chances are that you screwed up somewhere. Id have to see some of your games to provide any real pointers, but general advice is as follows:

- dont get spotted

- dont get shot

- keep that gun pumping. The only redeeming value the SP has is likely its gun, and even that is in doubt to me since the neutering it got about a year ago

Sometimes, you just gotta sit back and watch them all burn. Don't forget to bring popcorn. You're going to need a snack.

You think I’m being sarcastic? I played it as a frontline brawler it works perfectly in that role if you aren’t bad.

Our stats are similar in the sp ic. You can be even more aggressive spotting.  Try the regular gun.   I used to use the auto loader, but I think the single shooter  is better for more situations.

I think Morphman11 means you can be a great front line side show.   That’s where you get enemies to over chase you to their death.    Definitely can’t brawl like a heavy.

Maybe a bit of insight on the frontline thing:

It can bait shots or generally be a close range nuisance if you have the right amount of hard cover to get behind and a low enough number of tanks aiming at you. The mobility is good enough in most cases for you to pop a shot and retreat as they try to chase. Rinse and repeat enough times and you'll whittle away their hp if it's a 1v1. You can get them to overexpose while trying to chase the rabbit (you) and let greens provide support fire, too. I find that teams are extremely inconsistent, however, so i stick to 2nd line support on most games.

I mean I play it frontline too...just not as a brawler...everything HE pens u...so facehugging an lttb wont work...othersise sp 1c is the best bait on wotb..

I made a 46 percenter smasher chase me for 2 minutes around a hill while I was shooting his tm8s

So I realized I've never played Sp1C. So I got it and i kinda like it. I always heard it was crap so I skipped it, now I wish I hadn't. it may have zero armor but you can make complete cover out of anything.

I 'tooned with KoZzo yesterday who ran it exclusively and he is good in it.. he primarily uses it to lead red tanks back to our campers & heavies and excels in that lol!

I do not run the autoloader. I thought it made take more damage because you have that temptation to use the second shot.

You always use an autoloader on this vehicle. Because if you are forced to trade you get a secondary shot in before changing positions.  You get an extra shot to track your enemies. Just because you prefer to sit in the open to take another shot like a troglodyte doesn't mean your information is good. Please do not give out terrible advice.
