Should I pick the T23E3, the AT 15, or the SU 122-44?

The T23E3 is not terrible, it operates more like an M4 Sherman.. I like the fast reload and it will bounce shots if you angle it up. But honestly I will be going for the SU122-44 because I love turretless TDs. Also it has 169.00% credit factor, highest of tier 7

I'm sure it will be the least popular pick, but I'll probably take the AT 15. I've never ground beyond tier 4 in that line and doubt I ever will. And I would never buy it. So I may as well try it for free. Flawless logic.

SU-122-44 is hands down the best. The T23E3 isn't a bad tank but its a tank time has forgotten and has been power creeped to average. Never player the AT 15A but from all accounts its akin to a root canal.

Just remember. That if you already have one of the tanks, you can choose it again and get 2000 gold pieces instead. Plus 500 from the in game event too=2500 gold.  If I read it correctly.

Or you could hold on to that 2500 gold pieces for an event that you just barely miss the tank.  Just a thought. Just a thought.

It may be "like" an M4 but it is a much (much much much) weaker tank tier-for-tier. Not a bad tank but it doesn't really compare well to the M4, which is a very strong tank for its tier.

I was strictly referring to its handling and the manner in which it bounces shells. If you are good at the M4 it would be a easy transition. The gun is fast loading, low damage and so so pen

No on the T23E3. I already have it (freebie crate months ago) and i dislike it greatly. It sucks IMO since its penetration isn't great, alpha & overall gun performance is mediocre, and the armor doesn't do jack. The mobility is mediocre at best. Not to mention the teams I'd gotten every single time i've taken it out to play. If you want results in the tank, you have to fight tooth and nail for it. As far as pew-pew guns go, I don't think it's very effective.

As for the AT15, it might be decent but I personally dislike the form factor. I don't recall having issues killing them in most of my regulars, either.

If i decide to finish off the event, the SU 122-44 would be my go-to primarily for the credits and russian bias. JK about that last bit, but i generally dislike the british TDs and already know that I don't like the T23E3. It's not like I really need it though, given that I've already got so many other premiums and a helsing.

I may have a few too many tanks. I think I was over 150 in garage by last count.

I have the T23E3 and you will rarely ever bounce, but with every shot doing around 150 and a 4.4 second reload, it can be devastating. Not to mention a very quick turret traverse.
Remember what the general said. We're the cavalry. It would be bad form to arrive early; in the nick of time would do nicely.

Whether you have or don't have any of the 3 tanks, just don't spend the "badge of honor" you need to buy one of these vehicles and it will be converted into 2000 gold on May 14.  While SU sounds the best of the 3, tier 7 is bottom tier too much of the time so I'm going for gold if I get there.

Another way to look at it, pick the one you want to grind crew experience and credits in.

I do not recommend the T23E3, especially if you are struggling in T7. It takes some work to figure out how to win with it. I got it from a free crate early on and trashed the WR, my 30 day has it at 56% now. But early on I abused it to grind credits and medium crew skills.

All 3 are powercrept.

su122-44 has been outnumbered by comparable but stronger tanks (Chinese faketree tds, WZ120, etc...)

at15a is endangered by draculas and everything else that has been made so quick and powerful in that tier

t23e3 has nothing really standing out except boredom.

out of the 3, if you already have one pick the same one, that would be 2500 free gold

if you don’t, maybe the at15a has some fun factor for a ride once in a while.

just remind urself if needed that it’s a quirky tank that plays as quirky as the est of quirky brits tanks.

not everyone’s taste.

Also there is a reason why you never see any of them out in the wild.

none of them will be fun or good enough to become your main trusty credit maker without numbing ur fingers.

Found the escaped mental patient. I'm only mostly kidding as I don't understand the mental gymnastics required to love turretless TDs. I hate them with a blinding passion; the game has become too fast with too many lights and mediums flying around. And big alpha guns used to be the domain of turretless TDs, but not any more. There are a few gems in the overall turd pile of turretless TDs, but as a whole, they suck.

All that being said, the SU-122-44 is just meh (otherwise they wouldn't be giving it away so easily).  The ISU-122 with the same gun has 20% more DPM. The T-34-2-G Chinese TD has the same basic gun but 10% better pen (and is faster to boot). Then you get into the old standbys like the T25 AT and Jagdpanther that have similar DPM but much better pen and gun handling. And all those mentioned have a larger HP pool.
