I've got the T23E3 and the SU-122-44, and I like both of them.  I wouldn't pee on an AT if it was on fire though.  I don't play AT style tanks but they are probably good for people who suck, I imagine the skill floor is 6' under in that thing.

The E3 is a very effective ridge rider.  It's a light, so you have the light camo bonus, it's got nice depression on a fast firing accurate gun.  It's not the fastest light, and while it's not impossible to get a bounce you can't ever bet on it.  But situationally it's an awesome tank, it's up to you to make the situation happen.

The SU-122-44 is a like a typical SU except that it prints credits, at one time it was one of my go-to credit grinders.  It's not a derp but it does about 400 damage with decent pen and decent reload and it's mobile enough for a turretless TD, and credits.

The AT 15 isn't even good at being a piece of crap because it would hurt too much coming out.  I'm sure there are people out there who are good with and like this tank.  But there are also grown men who are into my little pony, so that doesn't mean much.

I was strictly referring to its handling and the manner in which it bounces shells. If you are good at the M4 it would be a easy transition. The gun is fast loading, low damage and so so pen

Fair enough.

Remember my words: they will be nerfed.

Right. Because WG has such a lengthy history of nerfing premium tanks...

And yes, I know they nerfed a bunch of low tier premiums in 5.5 but that was part of a much larger shift in low tier balance. I am not aware of a single premium above tier 5 that has ever been nerfed. There may be examples, but I'm not aware of them.

I will remember your words and I may even necro this thread every year or so to remind everyone of your claim.

I'm p. sure the T23E3 is a medium tank :)

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.

HAHAH!  I love it when I'm wrong, you are correct Boris, it is a medium.  I must just remember getting penned when a pine needle fell on it.

No worries :)

I remembered because I did ok in the T23E3, but I don't do nearly as well in the Comet - and when you use tank compare - they are practically identical, with the Comet getting the edge in my opinion.   I hate that Comet.

Peace-

Boris

I have all 3 and rarely play them. The SU is the best of them IMHO.

Get the SU-122-44 if you don’t already have it. I can’t talk from experience about the T23E3, but I love the AT15A. It’s much better than the tech tree tanks - the armor profile is troll at tier 7, since it’s the tier 8 hull. Gun is low alpha, high dpm and actually decent maneuverability. Don’t diss it ;)

T23 is odd. On paper it seems it should be as good or better than comet but it's not bc the armor is not there . The pew pew pew guns just don't work as well as they used to, I think I'd rather have less Dpm but more alpha in the current meta, low alpha fast reload means more exposure.

Yep I couldn't agree more. With a decent player that thing can rip. With a great player it's downright wicked.

Yeah, less alpha but higher rate of fire usually means you are exposing your lack of armor all the time.

I'm sure it will be the least popular pick, but I'll probably take the AT 15. I've never ground beyond tier 4 in that line and doubt I ever will. And I would never buy it. So I may as well try it for free. Flawless logic.

While I struggled with the GC, AT7 and AT15, I LOVED the AT2, and the Tortoise is an excellent DPM machine.  Some of my highest point totals have come in my Tortoise, but I still haven't Mastered it, which means that there are several other good players who like it also...
