What should I equip?

"In a man-to-man fight, the winner is he who has one more round in his magazine." -Erwin Rommel

"We're not just going to shoot the bastards, we're going to cut out their living guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks." -General George Patton

"Success is how high you can bounce when you hit bottom." -also Patton

My rule of thumb is calibrated shells over vents for all autoloaders. Pen increase is more noticeable, especially once you get to tier 8 and above, than the microscopic spec boosts to everything else.

"HULK SMASH[er]!!!"

I don't use vertical stabilizer, use your tank config like Rommel until you get a confort zone(with lot of damage deal), after that experiment with config until you find your "niche".

Basically this. It should be noted that the above config applies to *almost every tank in the game until you max the crew and then you can start fiddling with the equipment till you find something you like

*Some tanks require different equipment to play effectively (See KV-2) and can sometimes be best with that specific equipment. It's completely how you play.

And sell it as soon as you can. The tank is pure garbage.

Actually in the right hands it's a good support tank. It's particularly good at tracking tanks because the bloom on shooting is rather low, making follow up shots more likely to hit.

  I cannot believe you just said that!

The Ri is pure fun, you cannot play it like other mediums, its a peek a pew with really great accuracy for an auto loader. You need to keep in mind that its as big as a T1 and has no armor, but that gun is deadly! Be sure to run Camo Net and Vents But the most valuable equipment for the tank is a nice bush with a wall or a rock next to it.

Some tanks just aren't for some people. I like the Chi-Ri too, but you know how everyone sings praises about the Comet? I absolutely hate the machine. Poor penetration, rather large profile for something so lightly armored, an overrated turret profile, and (when stock) worse mobility than a Panther.

I'll take my Panther over the Comet, thanks.

The best equipment for the Chi-Ri, is free XP

Yeah, I'm back. Let's not make a big deal about this.

I disagree. I like the Chi-Ri a lot; it may not have armor, but that gun is what makes it enjoyable. FWI I'm a huge autoloader fan.
