No need to reply anymore. Just played a game and I told my son, “If I don’t get more than 1,500 damage I’m deleting the game.”

I did zero.

Have fun fellas.

making a zero game will happen even to the best.

For an American light, it’s more of the absolute Russian roulette tank.

you might aim 10 shots close range  and get zero.

you might also shoot across the map while driving and blow an ammorack or kill 2 with a single shot.

This said u might find better times doing something else with ur son. I know I should.

but, addiction to aforementioned American roulette...

Not the lesson I’d teach to my kids but to each their own.

Happy trails!

If this was “real” life it would be different. But it’s getting nice out and there’s way better things to do than play a video game. I played the game way too much before I left a year ago. Really didn’t miss it. Installed it again and once again played it way too much. For example, I completed the latest event on day one. I already had the day off but this is all I did.

So it’s really not a “I suck in a tank I quit” it’s more of a “I need a reason to delete the game again and enjoy the real world with my family rather than live in a virtual world with people I don’t know and get worked up about it.”

If I’d play it just once in a while a couple games a day it wouldn’t be a big deal but that’s just not how I roll.

Hide your kids, hide your wife
And hide your husband
Cuz they’re derpin errbody out here

I ran it with the 90mm. You do not need to run it with the derp gun. I stopped using the derp because you run into issues against T9 heavies. With heat shells you get 250mm (275mm with calibrated shells) pen.

I go for reliable damage over lottery shots and opportunity (having to be behind certain tanks). You also get the fear factor, Red thinks you have a derp and do not want to rush you. Others might ignore you because the derp gun cannot pen their frontal armor. What happens? You fire a shot and pen them. They think it was a low roll and rush you, just to get clipped for another 200.

Yes, there are "better" tanks with the 90mm. Use the 10 degree gun depression that the T49 has. It is an efficient light tank.

Fighting frontally with it against heavies isn’t how to get it done. I don’t have one but I’ve seen it played correctly and the ones I’ve seen played correctly all use the speed to get side and rear shots. That’s how you maximize the derp. The soft targets like lights don’t require you to get behind them to pen but I think the derp is the way to go. It may not be reliable 100% of the time but it definitely gives your opponents the pucker factor. I’ll take that over sure pen any day.

Get one. Then come back.

Also, I am not saying to fight heads up. I am saying you can pen if you are caught in a situation where you have to.

It works for me. Others like the derp gameplay style and can make it work. OP should know that both styles work.

You get 1k dmg in the T49 with a 50% ish WR.

Your recent WR is an aberration as a 1.1 DR and 1k avg dmg in tier 8 means your getting carried like crazy.

The 90mm has zero place on the T49, as then it’s a significantly inferior Ru or BlackDog.

You had zero right to talk to 4S like that given your performance is significantly substandard.

I think 5.5 was good for the game - But I also want my Kenny OP nerfed.
Sorry I haven’t aced the Smasher yet - So I’m still ruining tier 6-8

Read the 30-60-90. You can contribute to wins outside of DPB and DR. Where my damage assist numbers at?

I nubbed it up in the T49 early on. Manual grind, no boosters. I feel bad for you if you had me on your team back then. I didn't even have camouflage. I also chased the derp lifestyle, after watching videos on it. I failed hard.

I then fell back to the Bulldog and learned how to play a light.

You can call it as you like. I was not a wizard in this game, like you, so for average joe, you can play both ways.

My dpb is low! The horror! The HORROR!

But hey cruise, if that is your recommendation, tell them derp or nothing.

Also the get one is a literal recommendation. His playstyle may actual prefer the 90mm or the derp. He won't know until he tries it. I think you overreacted there.

My only problem with the tank is that the HE is so dang expensive.

I run 11 HEAT shell and 11 HE, my advice is to not waste shots with the he unless you're guaranteed a pen. If not, try to splash the lightest armored part on other tanks. I only play my T49 (and boy do I play it alot, I have over a thousand in it) when I'm over 1.5million. If you're grinding credits for a tank, I'll advise not to play it because just like the RU-251 it's expensive. Only some games you may make positive credits

I'm having a pretty tragic time in the T49, like 36 games right now with a 41% wr, but it's still fun.    Had a huge game in it last night at around 3,500 damage, 4 or 5 kills, my first shot being a full health ammo rack on a T-44.
My WR will plummet back to 44% as I try to recreate that match, much like my Bromwell COD that brought me down a few months ago.
It's a game, not a d!ck.   Don't take it so hard.

It is a vastly different play style tank than other lights.

With the long reload you need to setup well and master the art of the controlled yolo.

It's very hit or miss.  I either have a monster game or a big fat zero.  You'll never have meh games in this thing.

Or just yolo and bail behind hard cover against more isolated targets. Seems to work well enough.

I may have a few too many tanks. I think I was over 150 in garage by last count.
