As stated before, word directly from HQ is that avatars will not go away and will be developed further, so pick your battles and re-focus your feedback if you want some kind of change.

( note, I don’t have any use for avatars as implemented, never used one and likely never will )

YES! I agree. Anything but avatars. Can't get tanks in Hugh Containers anymore either.

I’m willing to accept any avatar except from big and huge crates. small crates idc because they dont give much anyway.

I don’t really even care about avatars. I just equip whichever one is the longest lasting, and right now thats the ratings participant one.

You can get tanks still; I got an M6A2E1 out of mine recently (one of the few tanks in there I actually don't have); but it's always been rare. The only other tank I've ever pulled was an IS-6.

The fact that you can even get tanks at all out of the containers is really remarkable

Avatars however are not stealing equipment from tanks you owned nor are they breaking the game economy, causing a massive drop in veteran engagement, etc.  People who don’t like avatars ( like me ) can simply try / learn to ignore avatars. It is a matter of personal taste. The same could not be said about spare parts and timers.

It is an aesthetic part of the game comparable to ''skins'' in any other multiplayer game....they add a customization factor to your account making it feel like it is more ''you''....That is their whole purpose and nothing more nothing less.

Could they be more? Of course, as I mentionned in another thread, they could add a really small xp, credit, repair cost reduction.etc when you wear them...especially for the time limited ones. Otherwize they are just a fun little thing that apparently triggers some people, which is always nice imo.
