Even if you turn off the cakes in the boosters, it will go into battle with it on, forcing you to manually turn it off before the battle starts. I find this frustrating, as I made a legendary cake for it to turn into gold after the event, but instead it just auto-applied, and I didn't notice that until last second, forcing me to use it. Is this happening to anyone else?
Remember what the general said. We're the cavalry. It would be bad form to arrive early; in the nick of time would do nicely.

Yes.. just tested this..  if you have Cake Boosters available,  the game will auto-equip them at the start of a battle.

Peace-

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.

And if you don't you'll use up the LEGENDARY CAKES you accumulate, which some people are saving for gold. It's not always easy to catch it right before battle, I just got one used up on me, so I'm a little scared to go into battle without the Epic ones first or the Legendary ones I'm keeping will be consumed

The problem with this is that my phone is sub-par, so I often get into battle at like 2 and have to quickly tap it, but then there are games where I've lost a cake because I got into battle after the countdown was done, and didn't have any epic cakes, so it auto used the legendary cake, and I now have no legendary cakes because of this.

I don't think this is a bug, I think WG did this to actually help players. Most players, if they have any cakes will want to use them and not save them. People complain a lot about forgetting to put boosters on. It's just different than normal for us, so throws us off a bit at first.
