4000 games in the KV2 during the last 30 days seems like pretty decent perspective from which to draw that conclusion. Smh

I assumed you had to be joking...

4000 battles in the last month in just the KV-2. Another 500 in the Smasher. I question the sanity of anyone who plays 5000 battles in a month (177 per day) but I really question it when I see that person played more than 80% of those battles in the lamest derp tanks in the game.

Starting to find playing this thing very frustrating,I'm playing well not hard to do around 2k in dmg however it's a constant stream of teams that die leaving me with four or five reds to deal with sooooo the MM or RNG is very, very bad on this tank which might be all the people playing it dunno.

I find it hard to use thanks to its weak turret and sides. It can't be played like a typical heavy due to this inability to hull down and sidescrape. Haven't quite learned how to properly use it yet, but I've had great success when I'm above the enemies, which, face hugging actually conveniently allows for.

Which is better? M6E2A1 or T34? T34 has better DPM but it’s slow af. M6 trades dpm for mobility. Which one would you rate better?

I've only played a few games in the M6E2A1 since aquiring it. I hate it. It's way too big and cumbersone, and it's difficult to protect it's massive hulk behind cover -rocks, destroyed tanks, etc., It might have been good if it was half the size. By contrast I love the T34 Independance, which I also have. Just need to protect the hull.

Don't be fooled by my winrate. I'm really a unicum in disguise.

Thinking hard about selling mine, the RNG and MM is turned against this tank plus the armor up front is a joke I tripped over a Tiger P and he was making swiss cheese of the front end, then you can't hit or pen anything and more often then not your teams suck.

I can buy better.....

Which M6A2E1? The standard M6A2E1 with the 105 or the M6A2E1 EXP, the one with the 120 mm gun? The standard M6A2E1's armor actually works compared to the exp version because it's at tier 7, meaning that it can meet tiers 6-8 only. Against tier 9, on the exp version, many tank destroyers would probably be able to get through that front with standard rounds, probably with the help of Calibrated Shells, whereas the tier 7 M6A2E1 only has tier 8s. The turret cheeks are indeed weak but past 100 meters, it's hard to hit for most tanks and you can produce some bonces by wiggling the turret.

I have 11k WN8 and 2.5k WN7 on my Leichtraktor (Nano_Virus of the DAMGE clan). Not sure if I should be proud of this...

The line of M6 America machines is a disappointment. While the front armor and guns are formidable, the side armor on the body and turret give ample opportunity to make shots pen. There is even one premium version at tier 8 that is for sale on occasion and while it is a reasonably tough machine, it still falls into the same rut the others are in.

I got my M6A2E1 from the huge crate on my alt account and it's a pretty fun machine, just point your hull and wiggle that turret and you're pretty much set to bouncing everything unless they fire prammo at your weak spots (at the front) or the tank that is in front of you is a td with high pen

It's thick frontal armor and fast speed (for me 35 and above for a heavy tank is fast) means that you can easily ram other heavies and do some nice ramming damage

I've had the tier 8 M6A2E1 EXP for a quite a while now.  It's advantages are front hull armor, penetration, and gun depression and height.  It's disadvantages are the super weak armor on the sides and rear, and it's height.  It's different from any other tank in the game so you have to play it different.

It's height is a weakness and an advantage.  It sticks above a lot of cover, it's the size of a barn, it's HE-able, you need to be real careful about crossing open space.  But it's also an advantage, it's height combined with it's gun depression allow it to shoot over cover no other tank could, if someone tried to face hug you can often put a shot right into their back deck.  You just need to think about unspotted TD's and firing lines before you try to change position in it.

It's front armor is also a double edged sword.  It's strong enough to bounce shots from most equal tier tanks you see, but not all.  Tanks with high pen will be able to punch through, you need to watch out for T34's, ISU-152's, and for T49's trying to zoom behind and hit you in the butt.  But to counteract that weakness, you are also a high pen tank.  You can pen any tank that can pen you.  I think the problem people have is that they get a lot of armor and forget that they might still need to use cover too.

Most tanks, when facing you head on, will be able to pen the sides of your turret next to your mantlet.  It's a small target to hit, a little bit of turret wiggling will do you good, you'll get more bounces than you deserve there.

And finally, now that we've discussed it's weaknesses, don't worry about them so much.  It's a bully tank, everybody knows that if it shoots at you it's likely to pen.  Get out there and point your gun at them, even if you don't get the shot off they're gonna try to duck and hide, or reposition, and that's when they make mistakes.  This tank can be a threat to any tier 8 and most tier 9's, make those tanks keep thinking about you and reacting to you, you'll end up with more wins than you think.

I love this tank.
