That's an awesome game and of course its a very important thing to pay attention too, how many shots you bounced. Its the difference between winning and losing basically. I have had some 2,000+ bounced games in the Is3 Defender, Is5 and kv4, Vk100P too, a few above 3,000. In realistic mode I ran the Mauschen. Had a game where I came around a corner, 2 guys in front of me got nuked. Team worked more mid chasing 1 tank. so I basically had like 5 tanks jump me. Couldn't run of course lol! I backed up down a slight hill and just angled up. 3 heavies on me, and 2 light tanks. I bounced just over 7,000 dmg, took out 3 guys. Survived as a one shot at the end of battle when the cap points went to 1,000, I still had an Amx13 90 behind me trying to pen. He was a one shot, I pretty much had him but the cap counter won it for us. Felt like forever till I got some help from the team, lol! But yea, that was a crazy game. Bounced shots will win you games.

I noticed way less bounces off heavies in real mode, the lack of rng on pen made such a difference, More than the lack of hit boxes which surprisingly I didn't really miss.
