The auto aim on my T-23E3 seems better than the auto aim of my Comet and Edelweiss.

Is this just subjective or are there numbers anywhere (like camo numbers) that can substantiate a difference?

Has anyone else noticed some tanks are just better at auto-aiming than others?

Yeah, I'm back. Let's not make a big deal about this.

More likely turret traverse speed is the strongest factor.

If you are auto aiming while moving or turning your turret then hiden stats come in. On the move dispersion and turret traverse dispersion are applied. In general American tanks have good dispersion for both those things.

Yeah, I only use it while on the move, non-scoped.

There's no real difference between Autoaim for tanks, all that contributes to its effectiveness is turret traverse speed (a faster traversing turret will track a target faster). That being said, the Old and New autoaim modes DO change how autoaim behaves. The old system doesn't lead shells on moving targets for you, you have to do that yourself. The new system DOES lead shots on moving targets for you, but it's a bit thick and aims for center of mass on the target when it's moving.

I'm probably one of the only players in the game with over 5,500 WN8 in a Tier 1 tank. If that's not the most useless achievement ever I dunno what is.

No, but RBSG will "regulate" your accuracy both on the move and while stationary to best suit the quota of balanced victories

I always felt like some tanks had better snap on feature where gun doesn’t bounce around too much and stays locked on target to increase chance of pen.  Sort of like hidden v-stabs.

The M46 always had a bouncy turret even with vstabs, the gun would rock up and down whenever you slowed, hit a bump or stopped. It always had good accuracy and the shell went where the popper was every time though. Pretty sure that may not be the case now though I haven’t played it for a while to know if it’s still the same.

You are correct sir ! The Löwe sings very pretty with the vast majority of snap shots I take in it.....

Not sure actually, people always used to have a problem with the PC autoaim being unfair...

Both pc and mobile have strengths and weaknesses when it comes to auto aim.

Was this true before they changed mobile autoaim?

Never really understood the differences to be honest.

Mobile auto aim allows you to pick what spot of the tank you want the auto aim to lock on to. Pc always aims center mass. Pc works better when you are CODing a tank and snap shots while on the move. Mobile works better in most other circumstances.

PC auto-aim is much more “sticky”.

It will stay on target, even if you look away or if the enemy tank goes behind cover.

Yeah, I'm back. Let's not make a big deal about this.

Ah so mobile you must be facing the tank but can adjust within it.
