Like the video, the band is really good, but the singer may be an acquired taste. I will probably listen again and see what happens.

Acquired taste? That's a bad-[edited] voice, just like his brother's from Powerman 5000 (Spider One).

On the first listen, I have to say that his brother gets a lot more out his voice. I’m not sure if either of them is a great singer, but I hear more range in the brother’s phrasing. To me he gives the better performance. On the first video I wanted to cut the singing out to hear the guitar and drums better. On the second I ended up not paying attention to the band so I could listen to the singer. But that’s probably a chocolate or strawberry ice cream choice, to each his own.

One does not listen to Industrial metal for the singing depth. It's about "strong" voices like Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, or Rammstein. You're not gonna find any Freddie Mercury's in that sub-genre. :teethhappy:

I see them live when that album came out. I was working at a club. White Zombie, LSD, [edited],and Testament. LSD was the crazies and I got to say WZ also was crazy.                                                                                                          Corrosion of Conformity

Having just listened to them again — at 6:30 A.M. — I have two comments. First, I did not need to wake up quite that quickly. Second, Rob Zombie came across much better the second time around, but strength is still his strong suit.

There’s a ton of references to the 60’s in the video and the music, though. To pull that off the band had to have depth. When they needed depth, that band had depth.

But, when I do listen to metal or for strength, this is more my type:

Also (because bagpipes and cute as f):

And the horned metal salute? Learned that when I was 5 or 6 and trying highland dancing. We’ve been giving that since Ceranos was raging across the skies in his goat drawn chariot.

El_Din, if you want to hear talent in a rock band, you need to listen to Tool.

Just listened to “Fear Inoculum.” Had to stop half way through and download the album.

Although I still listen to SF Acid Rock for the music (and the memories), Cream, and Emerson, Lake and Palmer are my top bands. From what I heard if you took ELP, advanced the calendar a few decades and you’d be in Tool’s neighborhood. Thanks for the suggestion.

Every album they've made has been incredible.  I feel like Lateralus might suit you the most.

Gone and made this song pop in my head for some reason. Here, have it in your head now, too.

I may have a few too many tanks. I think I was over 150 in garage by last count.

If you want bagpipes then: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-Op1Mng4oY

Also the band Sabaton does great power metal songs about different wars.

Remember what the general said. We're the cavalry. It would be bad form to arrive early; in the nick of time would do nicely.
