If you know how to play the tank is decent, otherwise don't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Blitz Forums' resident Leopard PT A main.

I have discovered the glory of the Tiger 1.

He who types many stupid essays and boasts about bad Leopard PT A stats.

I'm probably one of the only players in the game with over 5,500 WN8 in a Tier 1 tank. If that's not the most useless achievement ever I dunno what is.

HE does more damage than AP... in loopy land.

I’d say it plays like a much more mobile T32 with worse armor.

So...not great.

Watch out for BT-42, it will one shot you. References aside, I’ve seen good players carry their team in it. Just go hull down and keep that turret pointed at the enemy the only thing that can pen you is the Löwe and the T34 heavy. T34 heavy isn’t really that accurate at 100 meters if you constantly move around but the Löwe is quite worry some since they can snap shot at that weak side turret cheeks. And watch out for BT-42, you never know when it might pop out of nowhere and derp ya.

Must. Have. 60%. Winrate. Under. 0.5%. Platoon. Rate!!! (30 day)

I have 11k WN8 and 2.5k WN7 on my Leichtraktor (Nano_Virus of the DAMGE clan). Not sure if I should be proud of this...

Pershing should’ve become a tier 7 tank instead of tier 8.

Agreed.. I don't enjoy it.

T20 was a much more capable tank for its tier.

Pershing was a pretty capable tank during WW2, as it could stand up to the late war tigers and fight off t34-85s in the Korean War. Heck, It took three tiger shots and survived. Too bad the game does not represent this.

+1. I tried and tried to get gud with it but it was just a disappointment to me. But I havent driven it much for a long time. Sometimes mine gives me funny looks as it collects dust, might be time to try again soon, but it seems like a pretty weak tank for tier 8 to me.

I also agree with Boomer625. Pershings didnt see much action because they came too late in the war. But they were pretty much predators.

It's kind of MEH but definitely worth putting the effort in because the M46 and M48 are both solid tanks.   The more mobile T32 is a good comparison.  Also agree the T20 is a fantastic tank at tier 7. Don't let the grind to get there discourage you if you want the M48.

When I played the pershing it was average.  Probably powercrept now.

I am now the #1 ranked E75 on the NA server!

Mediocre for the tier, still better than an STA-1 but not op.

I just took the Pershing out for a couple of battles: some highlights

- ganged up on by a is3 defender , a Dracula, and a t71- killed t71, knocks out 400 hp on the is3d, and half of the drac’s hp after he rammed me down to 1 hp- frontal armor pretty good at anti-ramming i guess

-crested hill on map where hill is super important- ammo rekt by td and t9 spotting ranges

- actually won a game 1v1 a m46 Patton- very lucky as he missed the last shot when I was at 230 hp and he at 210hp

I don't understand all the hate for the Pershing here.

The Pershing is amazing. Sure it's not flashy, but Pershing is dependable. The thing has essentially no weaknesses. Good enough mobility to take key positions, good enough DPM, excellent APCR pen, excellent turret, 10 degrees gun depression, excellent gun handling, what else do you need?

Pershing has the mobility to take key positions, has the armor/pen to brawl against heavies, and the superior HP pool and armor will allow it to eat light tanks. The ability of the Pershing to stand and fight with heavies is pretty much unlike almost any other medium in the tier, and in a fight, unlike some mediums (*cough* Chinese mediums *cough*) Pershing has the pen and DPM to make a difference with constant damage output. In the last 90 days I'm rocking nearly an 80% winrate in it.

The Chinese mediums are amazing. Sure they're flashy, but the Chinese mediums are also dependable. The things have essentially no weaknesses. Good enough mobility to take key positions, a low profile, excellent aim time, excellent turret, the alpha of a heavy tank, excellent he pen, what else do you need?

I don’t mean that the Chinese meds are bad (I actually rather like the T-34-2 and Type 59) but I’m just referencing the fact that the lack of DPM can be an issue with them

Well, I just bought this thing.

My God it is TERRIBLE.

I gold the crew, free xp’d the gun and turret. Then after a couple games free xp’d the tracks.

Thought it had a strong turret? I don’t think I’ve bounced a shot yet. This take is HORRIBLE.

And it’s maxed. Omg I can’t imagine stock with a 75% crew.

Strange update.

After 9 games, I’m 11% in it. Yes, the math says I’ve won ONE game.

Had a great idea, let’s grind this POS in Ratings. Screw my score, just get rid of this tank ASAP.

Well, now I’m really good in it including my last game which was a Mastery.

Can about guarantee if I go back to regular games I’ll lose my [edited]off.
