I don't own any light tanks since 2-4 months ago!
Heavies, mediums or TDs, but why one type i don't own right now?
And don't want use lights for the moment, just fix the missions.

Have to say I agree with OP on this one, kinda dumb to get a mission that you don’t have the tank to complete.
Not really. There are only 4 classes of tanks. Every player should have at least one of each in their garage.
It's like me getting supremacy or toon missions. I just skip over them and don't bother. I don't do either, but it's my choice not to do them. Shouldn't WG know that I never, ever play supremacy? That's no different than not having a certain class of tank.
If somebody doesn't have a light tank, then that's their choice.
You're asking too much from WG to tailor make missions based on what a player likes or doesn't like.

Just to play devil’s advocate, but it wouldn’t be too hard for WG to write an algorithm that limits missions based on certain criteria. Your example is based on preference while the OP’s is actually quantifiable.
On the same token, I keep receiving discounts on premium tanks I already own via the mission crates. If WG would simply offer me a discount on a tank I don’t own, I’d probably use the certificate. As it is, it sits there for an hour and goes away.
Working as intended

I don’t think so. WG is doing a random survey that includes a question about adding three extra missions in a subscription model. Apparently they are open to the idea in some circumstances.
Right now I’m focused on learning things that mediums can teach me and, while I have driven light tanks, I don’t plan doing that again until I’m ready. The current missions, if I actually did them all, would slow any improvement in my gameplay. Adding a few of the right kind of optional missions might help.

Neither do I. I just play a bunch of matches and eventually I complete a bunch of missions. I don't specifically look for missions to complete. If I miss a few, then no big deal.
I know, it's rough... I own every researchable vehicle and can't use any of the certificates... lol.

Exactly. But can I have more, please?

That assumes that WG's main objective with missions is to reward players. A good chunk of the missions they design are to encourage their high uptime userbase to populate the game and queue in different ways - thus the varied tank types, rating missions, platoon missions, etc.

I’m completely in agreement with you. Just saying it’s doable.
I do want to stop seeing the purchase discounts for tanks I already own though.
