When I hear “jack of all trades”, the first tank that comes to mind is the M4A3E8, the Easy 8. I love that tank.

i recommend you the russian tech tree, specially the t62a line, and the is7 line, the vast mayority of those tanks have decent armor, decent guns, good mobility.pretty easy to use.

and if you want to get some credits just buy a premium.

edit:and if you want the jack of all trades go for the ARL 44,tier 6 french heavy, good gun, good armor, good mobility. This is one of the game carriers of tier 6.

T49. Fits all of your criteria perfectly.

weakness:

No armor at all. Almost every tank you see can pen you with high explosive rounds.

horrid gun handling and aim time. Fully aimed shots can go anywhere they please.

Only HE and Heat ammo types. No AP/APCR mean you can not shoot through things like fences or wooden boxes.

poor penetration values for both ammo types and a long reload time

expensive to drive

Pros:

Excellent mobility

Excellent camo rating

good gun depression

small target

Td level alpha on both rounds

great module damage with high explosive shells. Engine fires and ammo racks

fun factor

T49 is a thinking mans tank. You need to be able to pick and choose targets correctly and learn how to ambush tanks. Other than very lightly armored vehicles, you will have to get around to the sides and rears of tanks to effectively put out damage. Frontal engagements rarely work out as you can’t pen many tanks frontally with heat and HE will do limited damage. If you can master how to dive into the reds and drop a 900 damage HE shot into their backsides and then run away, you can dramatically impact the game. It can be a bit team reliant at times and it sucks in a brawl. One of the funnest and most frustrating tanks to play but man is it addicting.

I used to have a picture here but tiny pic took an arrow to the knee....

The Bob Semple tank, created when New Zealand went “Crap, we need a tank in a hurry.” Not too much different from tanks made out of spare parts in other countries. It may not be a perfect tank but since it’s the only one it must be the perfect NZ tank.

Edit: there is a second NZ tank! The Scofield tank was developed during the same period. By the time the pototype was built American tanks were arriving. (Credit to ZebraUp).
