Yes it's tier 5, yes it's WG giving us the derp guns it took away at low tiers. But after 5 battles (very favorable MM ofc) I want to keep playing it. I'm hitting my shots, I'm bouncing shots, and poking around pretty nimbly.

 

I didn't look at the numbers as closely before, but if you read past the derpy gun stats you can see that it has the best stabilization of any TD at its tier at 0.12. That's tied with the regular Stug and its 160 alpha gun. The armor is also reinforced compared to the tech tree stug, and I actually got a Steel Wall in one of my games. 

 

Like I said, I'm getting top tier, possibly new account MM, and the derp will be a bigger factor I'm sure. It's got heat base rounds, ~400 velocity. So far I like it a good bit better than last year's Scavenger.

it's fun, but with no AP, you gotta be careful of fences, crates, cars and stuff that will block your HEAT an HE.

Plus, it seems a little sluggish compared to the tech tree stug.

I’ve played it to some success. At tier 5 a lot will bounce right off your front plate. I use it at fairly close range to snap around and put a 10.5mm into the reds. There are still a lot of players more than willing to stop right in front of me and keep bouncing rounds while my gun reloads. It could be that I was fortunate enough to run into some really bad players. At tier 6 you have to keep cover and undetected. 
 

My first battle out of the gate resulted in about 2000 points, 4 kills and a bunch of credits.

Its a good tier 5 td. But now players know how to deal with. Also when facing a nightmare with a nightmare, go for the hatch. Almost 100% of doing over 300  dmg each shot. Got quite a few one shots on tanks. I feel bad a little bit for that alecto and little m3 td I think it was, didnt survive the first shot.

not the stug but has it has it's own unique play style

tbh it is de-noobing me from using he


Don't rush inBe patient and Don't brawl unnecessarilyKnow your tanks and enemy tanks;  Know your tanks' role;  

Knowing maps allows situation awareness; Mini-map is a mighty map;  Drive to cover;

Fight like you have no armor; Relocate and reset camo oftenBe the lover of cover;  

Hull down is OP; Stay on high ground; Don't go where you don't know
