Isn't 275mm of heat pen on its stock gun a bit much? That can pen the bottom plate of a maus and an e100. The Löwe is blood curling red when I stare at it with ap, but when I swich to heat, it's boredom inducing grey. Do you think the heat pen is overcooked a bit?

The Grille has worse pen than any other TD at tier 10 with both standard and premium rounds, while having the thinnest armor. Hell, the 183 running calibrated shells almost has better pen on the AP shell than a Grille does with HEAT. That's what you should be complaining about, not a mid-tier turretless TD that doesn't see competitive play that can nuke others of its own kind from full to none anyways.

It's 250 base (without calibrated shells), so let's that out of the way. That's a pretty standard number for tier 7 tds. It's what Type 62 gets for it's pen also. They could have given it less given the derpiness, but it's not an outlier.

Its not really that bad if you look at all the crazy tanks running around at tier 7-8. ie the Smasher, Obj.252u, Vulcan, E75ts etc...

And it’s a real finicky HEAT.

Angles I could pen all day in my 62 will bounce in the SU 152

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been dead on 90 degrees to a flat piece of grey hull and the SU’s HEAT bounce right off.

Yeah, I'm back. Let's not make a big deal about this.
