WG, please bring back the "skip mission" option. I can count my total number of platoon matches on 1 hand. I'm sorry I don't fit into your touchy feely idea of a tanking community, but I REALLY REALLY despise the fact that in order to complete all the missions, one is required to platoon. I play when I get a chance and can only play for brief amounts of time throughout the day. This makes platooning nearly impossible. Either make a random auto-platoon option available, get rid of the idiotic, asinine, and inane platoon missions, or give us an option to skip the platoon missions.

Now I've said too much. I thought that I heard you laughing (at me for thinking that this forum post would actually accomplish something), I thought that I heard you sing, I think I thought I saw you try,

But that was just a dream

That was just a dream

Over 41000 games and I'm pretty sure that less than 1000 of them were ones I've played in platoons, so I 100% agree with this

Just don't worry about it. You can still easily hit both weekly containers even if you miss all the platoon missions and they will only make you miss out on the last daily container, which also gives by far the worst free stuff.

It's definitely annoying to be required to do toon missions to finish them all. Yesterday, I got my mission done but my platoonmate and I played horrible. It wasn't much fun. Idk about him, but I started playing better when I went solo again. Pretty funny that I see him browsing this thread right now as I'm typing.

921 wins in a platoon -- if I use your 30 day WinRate that equates to about 1615 games played in a platoon.  (So pretty good guess for 41k games played)

Peace-

Boris

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.

This is true. Not sure why anyone bothers even trying for the final mission when all I’ve received is 2 camos. Rest of the time, just 3 or so regular boosters.

Exactly. People whining about free stuff is exactly the sort of entitlement that's ruining this generation.

Why do you think WG gives you daily rewards for missions? They want you to play more regularly, play different game modes and tank classes, and to platoon — to play the game more deeply. Why? Because this behavior correlates with player profitability.

Personally, I'm not a fan of tooning, but I'm not going to loudly complain about having to toon for a free bonus crate.

I'm okay with complaining about it.  I would like an option to skip a mission like we had in the old days.  I don't know that it was a problem for WG then and I don't see how it would be a problem now.  They have some pretty hard/unpalatable missions that they didn't have back in the day, and you still had the option to skip one.  You could even spend gold to skip more than one.  1400 exp, platoons, ratings, if I could skip one a day I might even start paying attention to the missions again.

If a person feels powerless or insignificant in their life, the easiest way to achieve power is to make other people angry; every internet troll has known this since 1993 and every toddler has known it since the dawn of time.

Heh. Same here. For some reason I haven't been doing well in platoon these past few days.

+1, I play at random times, for random lengths of time. Finding a platoon is hard. Remove the platoon missions, or give one "skip mission" per day please!

I agree 100%.
It would be nice not to have to rely on others for completing missions.

Because we want it, we’re not getting it.

“Some” because I don’t mind. And besides this is a team game - you are always relying on others.

There were only 3 missions back then, each one tied to a different reward. So it was a different system. The current system has more rewards, so it makes sense that some of them are harder.

Mate, how did you make it to 33k games and 60% winrate without learning that you can't rely on anyone? You are the only person capable of carrying each game.

Remove supremacy missions as well if the player hasn’t played supremacy in a certain amount of days. Hate and detest supremacy mode as most players already don’t know basic team strategies in a normal battle.

Agree, platoon based missions suck. The other one that sucks is 1300 exp in one battle.

The Halloween event showed us the “right” way to set up missions, just have 11 missions a day in the list and you only need 10 of those to complete to the top daily crate. So effectively you can skip a mission each day, and still get top reward. Easy, and they know how to do it, we’ve already seen it work. :amazed:

It was three easy missions back then, and they gave you a free skip.  I used to always skip the platoon missions.  Having more missions it only makes even more sense to have the skip.
