Never heard of that. Ive heard that new players play against bots until they get a tier 5, though.

I’ve heard that when below 5k you play against players within 5k of you. I’ve never seen anything from WG saying so and have my doubts. I saw at least four players with over 100k battles before that milestone and often saw players above 10k so it doesn’t seem likely to me. 5k did feel like a mental milestone though.

This is what you get for letting rednecks play with antimatter, boss.

MM tries to match new players more often if it's possible. I'm not sure if it can be called as special treatment, but this is how it works. :)

“ noobs “ is different from “newbies”

newbies are new players. starting a few months back the mm tried to place them against each other, so that they have time to learn and adapt to the game before being mowed through by the veterans. Of cours in time of few plauers MM does what it can and brings whoever is available.

Noob has no definition, generally we call a noob someone with supposed inferior levels of skills or results than us, someone who after extensive use of the game still doesn’t understand how to contribute to victory or bring victory to its team.

if you reroll logically you should be placed mostly with new players, or, of course, rerollers like yourself. It will make big stats easier for a while. After 5K though you should pool with everyone else.

Given the low number of players on our NA server, it’s practically meaningless.
Matchmaking may try to match newer players together, but keeping the queue wait below a minute makes it almost impossible.

Im sure on high population servers, it works fine.

Yeah, I'm back. Let's not make a big deal about this.

One thing that still baffles me is that Russia has insanely high sever populations. I don’t understand why the games so wildly popular there
RNG is rigged !

hmmmm... I thought it was that players under 5k battles have the potential see bots in their MM, and the frequency of bots decreases until it is 0 when you hit 5000

I’m a 46.96 47.57 47.87 percenter

But I’m an IMPROVING 47.87 percenter

Don’t be a political dissident, because then I’ll have to sacrifice you.

No, I never see bots ever, and i only have a little over 3k battles. The bots went away as soon as I entered tier 4.

Interestingly, I noticed you can't get mastery medals while playing against bots.

My alternate account still has fewer than 2000 games on it, and you can definitely see a major break from the MM on that account.

well with a name like “rebirth”, battle count in the 4k and knowledge of the game, it’s hard not to receive the reroll tag.

this said, rerolls, alt accounts, regional accounts, the intent differ, the result is about the same.

Personally, I don’t care stats, and I don’t give 2 butthair about what people do as long as they don’t come arrogant while lying, which is the core of annoyance with fresh rerolllers hitting such great % while playing only low tiers newbs and coming to tell you how “u shoud learn and ur stats stink”, when their account a month later is already struggling to keep decent results. This is the part that triggers the anti reroll skin reaction.

I dunno about number of games played, but after the number I have played, I'm starting to get a sense when the noobs are out in full force or starting to wake up & play.  After about 5 games, I can see which way the tend is.  In the past I would try and soldier thru & my Stats would suffer....now I just call it a day.

I'm no longer addicted to playing as I once was.  My WR doesn't climb very fast, but it doesn't drop either.
