You don't have only one use, its actually infinite, as long as you have the credits/gold, you can take back ANY premium/collector tank you ever sold. You just have to make a ticket to restore.

This was true years ago, but WG changed the rules for tank restoration. Big news if it reverted back to the more generous system.

Probably because not everyone likes to play hull-down. I prefer to side scrape, so I like to look for buildings, hard obstacles, and in a pinch, hard ridges. I prefer this for my mediums with good turret armor (121B, Type 59 Ding) when circumstances require me to be in the buildings. When I have to play that way, I usually take little to no damage from track hits. If I have enough gun depression, I like to get behind a bush on a ridge line, and pop up, take a shot, and duck back down for cover. This is the best way to play tanks like the St Emil, Indien Panzer, etc., and one of many great ways to utilize the Pantera 44.

Oh ya true nvm. I love hull down tanks, I just have a bias towards them

Because you will survive in it than many tanks. Other players  will bounce shots every game on you. And its a good credit earner.

You can facehug bigger tanks and often many wont know how to hit you back.

Two ears, one mouth I tell my kid.
he said premium/collector, which is accurate, so long as you have the credits or gold the number of buy backs is infinite.
You’re still limited to one buy back of a tech tree tank at the sale price.

Snark noted.

Last I knew the policy was changed to one tank per year. The restoration was limited to premium or collector tanks.

This leaves us with two outcomes:

01. I am wrong and a more generous standard has been put in place. Even if this is not a full reversion to the original system, I will happily eat a meal of crow in celebration of the more generous WG policy.

02. I am correct and you should rethink the quality of advice you are giving to your spawn.

Anyone official want to weigh in? Has anyone used their exception(s) recently?

I think it’s unlimited now as to how often you can use the system but you can only restore 5 per day. At least that’s how it was a couple months ago. WG may have changed it back to one per year since then.

Here is Ribble posting the initial policy change: http://forum.wotblitz.com/index.php?/topic/88661-exception-policy-changes/

I remember this because I started a thread to get the changed delayed for people and he posted in what I believe was his final word on the matter: http://forum.wotblitz.com/index.php?/topic/88670-ribblestripe-please-work-with-us-on-the-exception-policy/page__st__20__pid__1370245#entry1370245

AFAIK, the policy remains unchanged since the beginning of 2018.

Interesting. The statement on the website was not initially updated when the above posted change was announced.

I went and checked to see if WG ever updated any statements and found a change to the official policy that was posted mid-2019.

https://na.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wotb/article/25202/

If that link remains true, then premium/collector tanks are essentially subject to unlimited restorations provided you do them one ticket at a time.

Before I smoke up a couple of crows for dinner tomorrow, are the players that were around a few years ago aware of this change?

I remember discussing changes to redeeming back premium or collector tanks, and the consensus was, that it was still limited to 1 collector or premium tank per year....and I had tested it and had a response from wargaming stating that I could not redeem a tank because I had redeemed a tank in the past year....if this changed...this would be news to me.

All of the above. The best credit grinder is whichever one has X2.  That said, I think the Super Pershing has the best credit coefficient on your list.

Is it just me or is the T34 starting to feel like power creep??

Premium and Collector tanks can be bought back.

https://na.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wotb/article/25202/

One tank per ticket.  There is no limit.

Must have garage slot and gold for collector or credits + 10% for premium

You are correct. That is how it was a year ago

This is how it is today directly from their website

I have already bought all the tanks I wanted back within the past year

The Angry Connor manufactures credits like an Indonesian sweat shop.

But it's very difficult for beginners.

However it makes more credits on a loss than most tanks do on a mastery

If you want stat padding AND good credit earning, play the Angry Connor (you make as much as a tier 8 premium). Otherwise, with all the tanks I played, grab the T34. You play it hull down and move forwards and back just a bit and wiggle your turret and you are a very hard to kill target. Yes, the T34 has less of a credit coefficient than the Lowe (http://forum.wotblitz.com/index.php?/topic/58556-updated-credit-earnings-for-65-missing-a-few-new-tanks/) but I personally haven't played it, so I can't weigh in.
Remember what the general said. We're the cavalry. It would be bad form to arrive early; in the nick of time would do nicely.
