Tournament Stages, Tournament System, and Battle Format

The precise start time of matches will be displayed in the game client after the drawing. During the 1st stage, teams will be drawn randomly. During the 2nd stage, teams in the upper bracket will be drawn according to the "strongest against weakest" principle based on the number of points scored by the teams in the previous stage (team A plays with team D, team B plays with team C).

 Group Stage

The Group Stage is conducted using the Round-robin system: each Team plays against each Team within its group.

Tournament system: Round-robin. Number of teams per group: 8, number of groups: 1. The first spawn point is determined randomly by the automatic tournament system.

Schedule and maps:

Two battles are held on the same map with the spawn point swapped after the first battle, then the map is changed. All maps are playing in the "Supremacy" game mode. The format: Bo7 (up to 4 victories).

  • Round 1: 7 May, 6:00 PM (PT) / 9:00 PM (ET). Maps: Port Bay, Vineyards, Mayan Ruins, Alpenstadt
  • Round 2: 7 May, 7:10 PM (PT) / 10:10 PM (ET). Maps: Black Goldville, Faust, Rockfield, Naval Frontier
  • Round 3: 10 May, 6:00 PM (PT) / 9:00 PM (ET). Maps: Middleburg, Canal, Dynasty’s Pearl, Faust
  • Round 4: 10 May, 7:10 PM (PT) / 10:10 PM (ET). Maps: Castilla, New Bay, Winter Malinovka, Oasis Palms
  • Round 5: 14 May, 6:00 PM (PT) / 9:00 PM (ET). Maps: Fort Despair, Desert Sands, Faust, Port Bay
  • Round 6: 14 May, 7:10 PM (PT) / 10:10 PM (ET). Maps: Naval Frontier, Oasis Palms, Canal, Black Goldville
  • Round 7: 16 May, 6:00 PM (PT) / 9:00 PM (ET). Maps: Dynasty's Pearl, Port Bay, Fort Despair, Middleburg

A victory in the round brings the team 1 points, a loss in the round brings the team 0 points. After the end of the Group Stage, the 4 best teams will be determined based on the total points.

If several teams have an equal number of points, the following parameters will be considered to determine the winner:

  • Head-to-head battles and the total score for these battles (the team that won in head-to-head battle or that has more victories in head-to-head battles advances to the next stage).
  • If it is impossible to determine a winner based on the above parameters, the total score (number of victories) earned by teams in all rounds of the Group Stage will be considered.
  • If it is impossible to determine a winner based on the above parameters, the total duration of all head-to-head battles of the contesting teams will be considered.
  • If the winner is still not determined upon considering all the above-mentioned parameters, a tie-break is announced. The time of the tie-break and the maps to be played shall be determined by the Organizer. The Organizer shall notify the teams of the tie-break time on the forum in advance.

► Final Stage

The Final Stage is conducted using the Double Elimination system between 4 best teams from the Group stage (battles are fought in the upper and lower brackets). The first spawn point is determined randomly by the automatic tournament system. Two battles are held on the same map with the spawn point swapped after the first battle, then the map is changed.

  • A Team losing in the Upper bracket moves into the Lower bracket.
  • A Team winning in the Upper bracket advances to the next rounds of the Tournament in the Upper bracket.
  • A Team losing in the Lower bracket is eliminated from the Tournament.
  • Winners of the Upper and Lower brackets meet in the Finals.

Attention! Important notification!

The one of our goals is the procuring high-quality broadcasts during the season. In that regard, we have to remove Hellas map from Professionals tournament, because we detected several difficulties which are related to observer mode on this map.

Changes were made to the following rounds:

Group stage, round 6: Hellas map was replaced by Naval Frontier map.

Final stage, Upper bracket, round 1: Hellas map was replaced by Canal map.

Can’t wait to see the ATGM exploits that will inevitably be used.

its ok they add more dynamic gameplay into the mix.
At first, it was russian mediums hull down gold spamming (devs called them balanced) (we called them russian bias)

Now, light tanks with TD alpha with "advance armor" who shoot unavoidable gold missiles :D. (devs call them balanced) (at least these are non russian tanks)

silver lining folks
#RemoveMissiles
-RollingSwarm will be missed.
