Do you hear that? We don't either. But we're telling you, this silence has a reason. Something big is about to happen. Operation "Onslaught", the first event in the game based on battle pass mechanics, will commence shortly.

Sorry for the large photo size. I did the best I could to clip these pics out from the 5 seconds of footage in the video.
It seems this system will follow the World of Tanks PC battle pass system.
You play games and get given "points" for how well you rank in a game.
I dont know if this will be in regular games, rating battles or a new game mode entirely.
Then your points get you prizes. As you can see the top "grey" prizes are given to everyone by default.
The premium prizes on the bottom half have to be bought. For how much $ I dont know.
Note: This is not like buying a bundle however. The missions or levels still have to be achieved to get the prizes.
You cant just buy the premium battle pass and get the prizes, you have to grind for them like everyone else.
So what this means is that if you are thinking about buying the premium pass to get more prizes...
Make sure you have the time to actually complete the event... or you wasted money for nothing.
From what I can see, the major prize you get for buying the premium Battle pass is some collectors vehicles:
The covenantor tier 4 & the Kv1s at tier 6. Which can be resold for gold. (Around 1000 - 1500 i think)
This is also one of the only ways for tank collectors to regain lost vehicles from the past.
Depending on how hard the mission are or how expensive the premium battle pass is, it could be worth.
When they release their second video explaining the points system and duration of the event we will know for sure.
Again, sorry for the picture sizes.

What cons do you see in that?

We have different system. You complete missions and progress through rewards chain.

"The Premium Pass will pay off very fast. Once you purchase it,"
Pay to win (Stuff)?
Another "sales" event.

I always get amused when people talk about pay 2 win in such cases. I don't see increased penetration boosters or immortality certificates among rewards. Do you?
Battle pass is made for players who play and complete missions quite regularly. They will be rewarded depending on that regularity. What's the problem with that?
Also players who want extra rewards will be able to get them for small sum of money.
It's not event at all by the way.

Ah, so it will be more like a spring season type deal...
where parts of the year the pass will be in play, and the more missions you do during that time, the more prizes you get.
I like that a lot more than: "You have one week to get this set of missions done or you fail and have to buy it outright."
Do you want to give me a little hint on how much it will cost to get the premium pass.
(I can keep a secret, no NDA required. )

Ha I done that in plenty of events...
I welcome the idea of battle pass... IF this means an end to overcooked premiums and tier10 collectors.
im sad a bit to know SuperConq will be crate tank, so much so I have stopped my monetary support for a good while. DONT do that pls
all the bling that battle pass gives is alright... in exchange for more actual game development.
Danke

pro tip: Take Deep Breaths Often.
Hard to judge without seeing it all play out. Looks like this first season yields some nice cosmetic rewards plus tanks that we can still obtain without the pass, which is good.
My concern is that WG pushes the envelope in future seasons to “improve value” and make it more attractive by adding P2W-ish elements. What if Pass holders could gain access to enhanced equipment that yields for example, a 2.5% ROF advantage over non pass players? Just hypothetically speaking of course.
This is what you get if you only get the free stuff:
4 days premium time
300 gold
20k Free XP
400k silver
3 avatars, 3 camos, and 3 tier VIII research certificates
If you get the Battle Pass, you will be able to get the following: (I added the free items to the premium items to get these totals. There may be some errors)
7 days premium
1000 gold
55k Free XP
1.4 million silver
8 avatars, 37 camos (!), 168 boosters, 9 vaults, 3 discount certificates, and
1 Covenanter
1 Thunder
Still a little confused. So with the battle pass, You are paying to win more stuff? Or are you just paying for more stuff? So are you Guaranteed to win the grand prize (maybe a tank)? Or will you have to pay even more money for that If you fall short?
So how much money do you want from us?
Thank God this is a free game.

You play regularly, nothing changes. You do whatever you normally do in game.
It just so happens, that while the battle pass is active, you get more prizes for daily missions.
The prizes are shown above.
The battle pass is free and always active until WG say otherwise.
The only choice you need to think about its:
Do you have the time to play all the daily missions needed to unlock all the prizes.
If you have the time, think about buying the premium battle pass to get even more prizes.
If you dont think its worth your money, or you dont have the time, just take the free prizes.
