Need help from DEVS / Spring tourney game crashed for 6 of our players

We went to play our second team in season coin 7/8 #1 tourney tonight and the game crashed for 6 of our players, only 3 total players could get back into the battle - (against NMW-E) after that forced loss 5 of our players were booted out for a second time (not all the same players), and I personally could not re-enter the game without it crashing at the match loading screen. Upon losing that 2nd match and making it back to my garage I found only the first match with issues was saved in replays and I hit play, only for my entire game to crash yet again as soon as the replay battle count in hit 0. 

 

ANY HELP DEVS? sucks that we didn’t even have a chance to play a tourney when all of us have had ZERO issues until this happened. wth.

 

thanks for any help that is available.

 

Note: I have a screen recording of trying to play the replay and game crashing but my report ticket would not allow me to upload because the file is too big.

It’s a new feature they added in the last update. I hear in next update when you hit battle it just fraggs your device. :P

Yeah, ever since the latest update, my game client has crashed at least once per day, just trying to bring it up from being minimized and clicking a user interface option.

 

Hopefully they're aware of the crashing problems and are going to put out a patch in the next few days to fix this.

No change for Windows users. Help button still brings up the Windows caret browsing pop up window in the middle of the battle (unless you remember to clear it ahead of time because it resets itself every time you open the game) and the fire button doesn’t work about 10% of the time (requiring you to miss the shot, press the Start button, click somewhere in a blank area of the start menu and then click back into the game).

 

Working as designed. 
 

Now that I think about it I’m going to reorganize my start menu to have some bigger gaps in case I forget to check before the match starts.

I just checked and my replays of those battles are gone.   The battles before and after are still there.

US: Several players from across NA on various teams and devices report being kicked out of the game at the start of tournament battles, not just once, but multiple times and have shared exact games, teams and times of the issue, along with replays from those that were not kicked from the game, you may have an issue that is not related to an individual player.

 

WG: Nope, sorry, nothing wrong....the problem is you, not us.

 

Do you think we all just make this stuff up?  Why do I continue to put up with this type of treatment......

Or Xim, are you sure the internet just didn’t go out at the OldFolks Home?

Extremely poor customer support to just blow off a good customer like that.   This is what we have come to expect out of WG.

Poor CS wouldn’t have responded to the ticket.  
  If WG can’t determine why it happened, why do you think it was a poor response?  
 

Now I am agreed that it’s frustrating, but they didn’t blow him off or ignore him.

Responding to an issue does not equate to great customer service.   I would expect them to ask follow up questions about the issue.   We all experienced this last night.  The game crashed right to the desktop for all of us at the same time.   This is an issue and it should be investigated.

Don’t play PC? 
 

Honestly your going to get a lot further continuing to push into on Discord to Rexy, both in NA tech issues and Tournaments. 
 

Rexy has the tournament domain and is active on Discord. 
  All your guys should put in their data there - Device, OS, etc.

Honestly the Player Support folks can help with a lot of low level issues. 
  But for any significant tech issues it needs to go higher.  

 

For issues that affect tournaments RexyC is the go to - as they have direct access to higher level support and can get it done quicker than sorting through a few layers of support personnel.  
 

Tournaments for me of late have had a number of issues. Many of them don’t fall in the lap of WG - simply the time seems to fall on peak NA Internet usage and that causes lag, ping spikes etc as the internet backbone gets stressed from use.   
  We had several games where players crashed - and if you playing a good team, it’s impossible to fight a 7:5 (or worse).   We had a match against PNCR where we had a 70%’er crash and a 68% player be AFK/Lag Circling up till he was the last tank (he failed to carry even with a near 3k avg dmg and over 3.5k avg in tier X). 
 

WG knows that Tournaments are a major draw and I have faith that they are working on issues as they become aware of them.
