So I really like the look of the Thunder, and it seems to do well in battle. I kinda want a low tier heavy like that but is it worth the $5 to get. The KV-1S looks the same. I know the stats are different but what are your opinions? Thanks, any advice is appreciated.

Mostly it is a KV-1S in a different camo. But I like the KV-1S. 5 bucks will get you a hamburger with no fries or drink. Why not?

It seems a little late in the day to be making the decision now, but all I need is to fill the free XP vault and finish a couple more stages. All the extra goodies alone are well worth the $5.00 IMO. The tank is just a bonus. Not a bad event. Easy and inexpensive.

Ok, I've thought about buying the pass just for the bonus stuff, mostly the free xp. Thanks.

Slower KV1s with redder armor neat paint job, and with 10 degrees of gun depression

So what you're saying is that it's a heavier KV-1S with 10 degrees of gun depression? I'll stick with the KV-1S. I like the lighter, faster vehicles.

I dropped the 5 bucks and Ive gained about 4000 gold from the event. The thunder doesnt get me too excited, but I will use the gold to get a tank I really want. Free XP is gud and lots of camos as well. To me the 5 bucks is a no brainer.

I was morally and philosophically opposed to the $5 because of the crime against humanity that is giving us that red one that cannot be cleared without spending the $5.  But when I figured out that you get to see the thunder built before your eyes I went ahead and spent it.  Watching the tank get built isn't as cool as I thought it would be, but I am getting good stuff for my $5.  All it's really costing me is my sense of morality and the corruption of my soul.

If it burns when I pee, does that mean I wouldn't be a good fireman?

Yea, me too. And all that over 5 bucks. What is wrong with us? We should know better.

The extra gun depression makes me prefer the Thunder (even though I've had people call me a wallet warrior for playing it, lol)

For what my opinion is worth, I think it is great tank, I play it as a second line tank due to the looooong reload. Not as fast as the KV-1S, but if your a heavy driver it moves well enough. Better armor, 10 degrees of gun depression, and looks great, when rollin out at the start of the game, I find myself checkin it out from the side watchin the cool red graphic flow along. Packs a hard hitting round.

get in to close to the reds, and it can be ugly, lites get around you and it’s bad, but that’s with most heavies anyway.

$5 is not bad, but I have a long history of not giving WG money (going back to 2016) and it is worth more to me to continue keeping my wallet closed on principle.

Same. My total spent on this game is now 13$. I don't think that counts as being a wallet warrior.

I opt for the 'closed wallet' on the matters to which I find exception: Crates, high prices, etc.

I willingly show my support for the things that I find acceptable: Battle Pass pricing, fair pricing, XP and other fast deals for a couple of Bucks, and so forth. It shows WG a positive incentive for the things that they do well.

Like when training a dog, give positive feedback for the good things and withhold attention for misbehavior. That is the only way a dog, child or WG can learn what works.

The Battle Pass is hugely worthy; just the camouflages alone.

This is spot on!

If the player base can incentive WG buy showing support for events like this, they may do more events like this one.

Right on idea, but getting a decent size of the play base to actually go along with this to make an impact would be too much of a task. And the fact that you managed to relate WG to a dog extremely amuses me. Though, I think my pup takes the cake in most aspects.

$5 gets you a wendy's biggie bag. Would you like that or a pixelated tank? The choice is yours. farewell.
