I'm not sure how advertising works, but when it comes to ads, you're the product not the customer. Advertisers pay to have you see their content. The platform can choose what advertisements they show, but in my experience very few are all that picky.
Facebook ads are the worst. Some of them are actual scam businesses that FB continues to allow on their site, which sullies the many legitimate advertisers on the platform. Facebook doesn't care that much as, like I said, the advertisers are the paying customers and the users are the product they are "buying".

Are you two open for debate on de-funding OP clans that beat us every day? If so you might have my vote.

it's good feedback and worth bringing up; I'd suggest creating a support ticket as well. Wargaming is pretty firm on keeping things apolitical on discord and the forum though not so much with in game names.
They (or more precisely the service they partner with for them) absolutely can control the ads; that's why we don't see pornographic ads popping up and so many ads are targeted at young or potentially naive game consumer bases.

Facebook is a legit hole of crap. I wish I could just lie and say I found it on YouTube so it must be true, but reviewing peer reviewed scientific studies for my Master's have reinforced my BSometer.

Next time, take a screenshot, add it to a support ticket.
I agree that political ads shouldn't be part of the wotb gaming experience. In wotb, wowsb, ... my ads are 100% for other ( often rather amateuristic looking ) games?
On youtube though, there's a been a lot of deceptive ads from the local power company and several for local politics. I know a couple of the wotb youtubers we all " know " and view, probably wouldn't want there to be political ads, but who knows if they can exclude them?
I suspect those deceptive ads and attack ads are purely google adsense + highest bidder + my/your location.

What, not beer, pizza, afternoon naps? The kitten thing is pure pandering to MarbearCat. You have lost the endorsement of the 68th Armor Btn. We shall find every statue to Cletus &Ronaldus, and tear it down.

Acrisis, what your saying makes sense, but could it also be from players now signing in with their Apple account that pops up since 6.8?

As said above, from a 3rd party. From another person, your the product not the add. Bot statements are true. WG does not have any control over the adds as far as I know. You get adds based on what you research. If I look up furniture on my internet browser, adds of furniture will appear on FB, social media crap, blah bla blah. Adds are customized via algorithms to the specific person in hopes that you'll click on something of interest too you. Thats how they get paid.

I have not seen any political ads recently. It seems that perhaps WOT was able to influence the ad content, and if so, I am very grateful.
I come here to escape from that crazy world of politics and stuff.
