It's good in the hulldown, as the turret is good, and the gun is ok. The cupola is pretty big though, and the hull armor is bad. I don't have it and don't ever plan on owning it, so my stance on the topic could be wrong.

Missiles are not a problem, ya'll just jealous you aren't skilled enough to use them (Ok, ok I'm joking.:harp:).

Stats-wise, not really. The T-2020 is just a ST-1 turret mounted on an IS-5 hull with spaced armor (wth).

tier for tier the hull is actually better on the t2020 and the turret has smaller cupolas. the turret isn't a stock st turret either, down-armored or not. the hull is also not the is5 hull except for the fact that it's a pike nose(2020 has really small lfp). whoever said this needs to stop as everyone seems to now be regurgitating these as facts. may as well say it has the hull of the is3 and the tiger 2 has the hull of the 112-2 because it's sloped!

Nope. I think Wargaming mentioned it in their video or at least someone did.

Watch wargaming’s awful “pimp my ride” T-2020 video. They LITERALLY said ST-1 turret and IS-5 hull. I agree with you that the stats are different. I agree with you the shapes are different. Just like the tankenstein, this thing is supposed to be kluged together from scrap. So unless you want to tell wargaming to stop, just calm down bud.

I wish it had more HEAT pen - C6 is right on with the comparison to IS7 and weak APCR is one of the characteristics of the IS-7. No point in giving it HEAT if it isn't gonna be 330-340 pen.

Watched Droodles vid. Running CS gets the HEAT up to 330 mm of pen.

The 5A HEAT is 333mm with CS, but for consideration the E5 and IS-4 have 374mm with CS, and the WZ-113 has 369mm with CS

The IS-4 can eat a Maus quite easily, while the 5A needs to be very selective about where and when it engages.

330mm is generally Medium CS HEAT pen.

It is workable pen, but not godlike

If Wargaming says so, it IS facts. But yeah that video was terrible and the accent used in the video was terrible.

Absolutely correct. The 130 mm gun seems to be rather agreeable to me.....so far.

Idk how the tier 10 is, but the tier 9 variant was horrible. Everyone would pen the lower plate
Some people say the Type 62 is overpowered. Having >500 battles and a 67% winrate, I may agree. However, none of y'all realize just how uncomfortable it is to sit down on these flimsy plastic seats with "Made in China" emblazoned on them. I mean, my cupholder just broke in half. How the f#%$ am I supposed to fire 250mm pen HEAT shells at the fronts of Tier 8 heavies if I have to be holding my Red Bull in one hand at the same time? It's ridiculous.

Yep. This thing is on par with the T34 turret when it’s hull down, not kidding ! Yes gotta wiggle due to the cupola’s, but even a feeble old man like me can make it work well.
