I like blitz and all, but I sometimes want another game to play if Blitz is down . What I really would want is a singleplayer campaign (basically the Ace Combat series of games but for tanks) or really just an alternative than the big 2 tank games around (WOT and War Thunder) where I don’t have to deal with other players

Armored warfare assault. Although its not wwii, it's still AFV's. Was fun in the beginning. Until they pulled the rug out from everyone. But that's a story for another time

There was this free game I use to play called Wild tanks: Online where it had historical configuration tanks but the balance was off as you would find Easy 8s fighting IS-2 and ISU-152s. Gold ammo costed gold which was brought with real money. The line ran to the cold war and towards modern tanks like the M1, Leo 2 or the T-90. Unfortunately it was pulled from the google play store but I could still download the APK file and play it.

   There was this one game (nothing like wotb, nothing will ever come close) it cost money and had in-app purchases. But it was one of my favorites. You play campaigns, online matches, and battles against CPUs. You don't need internet, too! Only problems are graphics and money after battles. 

It was called Battle Supremacy Private, only on the app store.

I would say Blitz is the best mobile tank game on the market right now. It may be not the most historically accurate, but the game mechanics and graphics are better than most of the others.

THeres an older PC game called “war plan pacific”. It’s a strategic level ww2 in pacific, you against AI.
