Hey I recently got IS-7 and it just seems kinda meh to me.  You have to be pointing straight forward to block sometimes, and the lower plate is huge.  Its hard to take cover because the armor, and the turret even has weakspots.  Should i just screw it, sell it, and buy maus?  HELP
Well butter my buns and call me a biscuit that there's WACK

Some people say it's noob friendly, some say it's not, the trick is facehugging, peek-a-boom and specially going hull down, you can sidescrape but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have the grip on pike nose tanks.I did a review on the tank where you can get some info if you're interested.

Ever since the gun(the one good thing about it :justwait: ;)was nerfed, It has been kinda poo. I’m not saying it’s flat out bad, you can make it work, but it’s not by any means noob friendly.

It's a good first tier x, but it is outclassed by other heavies in a lot of ways. Try to get up close and facehug. Bait shots so you can fire at them on the reload.

No, I’m not defending German technical superiority, I’m stating the ****ing obvious!

Absolutely do not sell the tank. Beyond the best practice of never selling a tier ten tank, getting comfy with the is7 will make any other tier 10 experience for you an easier adaptation.

One key thing to know as you've had some success with is8- the is7 play style is completely different. Forget everything you knew and every pattern you took with the 8 when you're rolling this thing out.
