So I recently got the is5, and it's not as good as I expected.  The gun has nice dmg, but the pen and dispersion aren't great, and the armor is mediocre at best.  Just seems to me to be like a slower is8.  Nice credit printer tho.  What are you guys's thoughts?

It's speed is great. But the gun is just... I miss tanks right in front of me sometimes. It's amazingly wild for accuracy.

My thoughts are the same as yours above. I know I shouldn't complain about gift tanks, but this one's a real stinker in my book. It's like a slower, less maneuverable version of the IS-3, with a crappier gun. Why running it gives one "Seal Clubber" points in BlitzStars baffles me.

I'm too old to be a seal clubber! I can't tell you the last time I even went to a club!

The gun could use some help for sure ...

The seal clubber status in Blitzstars is odd, if I out the IS-5 out I know its not going to be a easy battle. Whereas a seal clubber tank such as a Lupus I can understand its status on Blitzstars.

It is just as any other IS clone, decent armor if you can get it in the right spot, decent mobility and alpha, crappy gun handling and gun depression...

It really shines when you're top tier and it struggles against IX's, it's still a very good tank for only 1500 gold coins.

For the price? Pretty good
Ignoring the price? Too basic
