So... a couple days ago the Lowe came on sale. I was wondering why they priced it the way it was advertised (5k gold down from 14k, but, the store says 7k) why the various prices listed?

I went to do a little research and clicked on the only button provided (thinking it would take me to another page to give a description of why it was different from the normal 14k or 7k versions) but, no, I accidentally bought it instead. Now, I am TRYING to get a refund, but someone said that because there are riots going on where ever the corporate headquarters are, so the internet is not always up there, they might not be able to help me for a few days, by that time, the 5k offer will be over.

Now the question comes, should I keep the Lowe?

I was planning on grinding the Tiger 2, and it looks like the Lowe is a little better? maybe like the Smasher vs KV2?!? I dont know.

I mean, it is only 5k vs 7k or 14k (I still dont know the differences) so it is cheaper, but, that is 5000 gold, evens out to like $20, where I have only ever spent a little over 2000 gold before. I am not much of a heavy player, but I do have fun in them (love my ARL44 and Black Prince. Smasher is OK, but, I wish I didnt spend $20 to get it)

But, like I said, I was planning on grinding out the Tiger 2. Should I try to get my 5k gold back and grind the Tiger 2 or stay with the Lowe? Anyone have these 2 tanks? any opinion either way?

Lowe is one of the best credit printers at T8, plus it has a great gun

 

300 alpha every 8.4 seconds will decimate meds and the high pen will go through some heavies easily, especially the weakspots of the M6 EXP, which relies only on its frontal/ turret armor 

 

the gun is of german accuracy-very good

 

hull armor has major weakspot at the bulge between the upper and lower plate, solved by hull down/ using side armor to sidescrape

 

Just got it using my 5k gold from watching 500 ads

 

tiger 2 I have little experiance playing, but from playing against it, it has strong front armor (not prammo proof) but weak cheecks and turret sides-

Lowe is a good credit grinder sure, but it’s also super boring and not as good as the Tiger II.

It doesn’t have the armor to fight heavies effectively, with a weak turret and a large misshapen hull that you can’t sidescrape in. It’s also quite big and slow.

Tiger has a more friendly armor profile, with a smaller, easier to angle turret, a better lower plate, and you can sidescrape in it. It’s also a bit faster so you can combat meds more effectively.

 

Bottom line 5k is good for a t8 but Lowe is ok for t8. It’s a good tank for a first premium because it prints silver, but if not then pass it up. Boring mediocre tank, there will be better offers.

The reason the original price of this one is due to the legendary camo and equipment attached. The one that’s always in the shop for 7.5k is strictly the tank with no additions. 
 

Why not just get both? The tiger 2 is free and the Lowe will help your credit grinds down the road tremendously. Tiger 2 is definitely stronger, but that’s not to say the Lowe isn’t capable. Just might take more practice and getting used to.

 

But if you seriously don’t have any interest in keeping the Lowe don’t play it (not one battle). It should not matter if the 24hour deal expires, and I think they’d allow excepts in they can’t responds asap.

MMMmmm... it comes with paint and full equipment... and from what I hear, it has a money printer in its trunk... $20? I dont know, but, I am close to convinced to keep it...

On Wot PC I remember when the Lowe was $99.  It is a fantastic tank, keep it.

Both are great, but,

#1 Lowe is a prem, so no stock grind 
#2 Makes you rich
Why not get both? It't not like keeping the Lowe means you aren't allowed to have the Tiger 2. imo the Tiger is better. I've brawled with a Lowe before, and come out on top. But Lowe is also a really strong tank.
Smasher v kv-2 is bad comparison tier 7 vs tier 6. And Smasher is wayyy OP.

I know I can still get the Tiger 2, but I am 2 tanks away from it (and then need to grind to max it out). And maybe, THAT alone is worth the real world $$

 

Yes, KV2 is not same tier, but, they are similar in play, and they occupy the same space in games (as far as where they usually go and stuff) obviously they are different tier, but you dont go into a game thinking who you will play against, but which tank you are taking in, and if you are matched same tier for each, you play about the same, this is what I meant. And, the Smasher is more OP in its tier, but, I dont think $20 better (in its respective tier) (I would play the Black Prince if it was tier 5 or 10, as long as it was balanced for that tier the same as it is balanced in 7s)

If they would nerf the alpha on all ammo types, it wouldn't be OP. True, but it is worth the 20% I would say. Especially if you play it correctly. easier to win in than a kv-2

So you have the VK? That's a really strong tier 6, I'd keep it in the garage if I were you. Don't buy the Tiger or Tiger 2 without xp to pass the stock turrets, both turrets on both tanks suck.

Play Lowe 99999 games and use 99999 billion credits earned by lowe to get tiger ii
But Lowe is leagues ahead.
