Anyone tried playing the game on the Switch lately? I thought I'd try it on it but the game keeps crashing trying to load into a match. Is it because I'm trying to play it in handheld mode or did WG break something yet again?

They have a few bugs to work out. I think they really wanted it to come out when the Uprising game mode was out and they rushed it.  my game crashed when I accepted a tourney invite.

I tried switching from iPad to PC and I struggled, even with KBM and/or a PC controller. How was the transition from touch to controller for you guys (when it isn't crashing)?

Terrible. Nothing is familiar and the lower FPS bothers me. I’ll stick to my phone.

I used to have a picture here but tiny pic took an arrow to the knee....

Switch version keeps crashing for me as well. 270+ games in, I guess it was fun while it lasted :honoring:

While I absolutely agree the Switch version has a lot of issues that prevent it from being actually fun; for me I want a 60fps mode, I don't mind if they have to make the graphics horrendous, I just can't stand 30fps. The other constant issue is the game hanging at "loading" upon launch, but hitting the home button and going back to the game fixes it.

However, I have literally only had 2 crashes out of maybe ~1000 games on the switch. I'm not claiming I have any answers as to why; the only thing I can think of that might possibly be different on my end is that I moved the game to internal storage (quick side note, if you have any game that's painfully slow on loading, try moving it to the internal memory. It's a bit faster than the maximum speed of the microSD controller).

To do this you go to: System Settings -> Data Management-> Move Data Between System / microSD Card

While I doubt it'll help it can't hurt to try checking for corrupt data which is under: Data Management -> Manage Software -> (select the game & scroll down) -> Check for Corrupt Data.

I have no real issues with crashing on my switch, 1/1000 games maybe.

P.s any wg staff reading this, Switch needs inverted axis option for controller or dpad option.
