Noticed tonight on Blitzhangar that WG has fixed the area around the gun on the Super Conqueror in 7.3 ... which was one of the complaints about the model when it came out.  Enjoy the buff.

It will help (at the least it will lose the worse T10 tank position) but the tank is going to be still meh.

Besides the size of the tank doesn't allow a 100% effective use of the gun depression.

A Brit tank with the accuracy of a Russian

crazy that the tank still performed better than every other tier 10 damage and win percentage wise even before this buff.

Because the pre nerf test tank data is still there.
Pre nerf it was a very solid tank, honestly I think it was fine.

After nerf it was a giant turd.   - reduce turret armor, and enlarged turret ring.
It couldn’t play hulldown well after the nerf, and it’s a crappy jockey tank on ridges with its poor mobility and Russian gun handling.

I played 100 games in testing pre nerf and 84 after nerf.
I lost 8.75% WR and almost 700 avg dmg after the nerf.

It was kept in testing longer, due to the nerf which also occurred over the heavy HP buff and everyone agreed that the nerf’s where way too severe. Many testers stopped playing it when it was shown to be a giant tire after the nerf.

So it still has exceedingly inflated stats.

even the 90 day stats are pre nerf? it's the top heavy tank by those measures also.

i don't really like the 90 day stats though as that includes very good players that do well regardless of tank and very bad players that do poorly regardless of tank. can't get an idea of actual tank strength.

the 45-55% is the best, but if it's all pre nerf they are pretty worthless.

90 day would be post nerf.
I played it last on 30 April a day or two before it was removed from testing.
Nerf was in March.

If it’s doing that well now it’s a testimonial to players not aiming or letting it farm damage unopposed.

FWIW even pre nerf it has some turret weaknesses.  One of the EU testers got hit on the roof hulldown at max depression for a full roll HESH 183 round.   Now it was luck and RNG on the 183 driver, but It wasn’t nearly an impossible pen like a lot thought.

Not taking it out again until the buff. Glad to hear about it.
