38 battles so far, fun tank for sure, 82% of crew.

But my rockets are hitting everything except red tanks, lol, unless I shoot like when I'm using regular ammo. What I am mostly curious about is when shooting up into the air to hit the red while we have an obstacle in between, like a hill or rails for example.

I thought I shoot up and then point to that red tank. But my rocket hits the ground. I use PC mode on my iMac.

I tried some videos claiming rocket/missile tutorial, but did not find much.

Thanks

You know how there's 2 reticles, one that stays in the middle and one that moved when you move your camera? You need to point at the reds with the reticle that stays fixed to the middle, not the one with the green circle around it.

lookout area is needed, too. So you can shoot around corners

I have converted to T-15ism

Oh,right. That's in the settings, and what it does is if you press on the little bar (which is what shows up after you turn on lookout area) you can look around without turning the turret so you can point the gun up, fire the missile, and control it without turning the turret. Although you don't need to keep the turret fixed after you fire the missile.

He said that he is playing PC.

To OP: I have been having trouble learning rocketing as well. When I have been playing on PC the Rocket will suddenly dive into the ground once it leaves LOS.

Needless to say, I will be following this thread to see how to resolve this difficulty.

once it goes out of LOS (like a building) it tries to circle Around and hit the building. Kinda annoying sometimes

Yeah, I believe PC lacks at least one of the features you have on touch for rockets. Shooting over an obstacle seems impossible without any guidance. Just pointing the reticle is not enough.

well I use both touch and pc Apple

At the beginning I tried look out with iPad without success (because it takes training).

Then I just tried to shot in the air and then aim not using the sniper mode, just point to enemy profile to make it red.

Without training in 2 or 3 battles I got a couple of good shots.

And that proved to me how bad for the game is the missiles mechanism.

It is not abused by a lot of players just because mostly they are too lazy to try it.

After that I decided to quit missiles mechanic: I only use it for Pen purpose and I do in LOS mode.

I'm against missile mechanics with all my soul !

Well, videos looked good, but I cannot lock on red tank like that Sheridan does in the first video.

What do you mean by lock on? I think he was just pointing at the Grille, not using autoaim lock.

Oh and I heard somewhere that on PC you can look up and hold right click, then your turret will stay where it is.

lock on = get the red outline on it

In Sheridan's video it seems he was able to do it without having the straight line to the red tank he is aiming on, aka, shoot over an obstacle. 2:10 of the video. In such situation, I lose the red outline. I only get it as if I aim with a regular ammo, that is, straight visual line to a red tank.
