I have been doing the missions with the Scavenger and It seems I'm not getting 200 pyroleum from each mission like I'm supposed to. Can anyone explain why this is happening?

Because that’s not how it works.  You need to read the news better.

I’ve noticed a strong lack of Spare Parts. Is that intended?

No, it is not. This problem will solve itself with time. Many players have several dozens of vehicles in their Garages, so they don’t have enough Spare Parts for the entire vehicle fleet. But you will gradually collect enough Spare Parts to unlock new slots for purchased tanks in time.

I guess the video lied because it said if you use a wasteland tank you get 200 Pyroleum per mission

Pretty sure it’s like only one per day. Good luck!

Yeah there is one mission that says “kill three tanks using a [wasteland tank]” or something like that for 200 gassy things. Resets daily.

So if you are out of Pyro boosters, you can not advance on the march to level 60?

I've won a few more battles but not advanced.

Yeah, only way to earn pyro is by completing daily missions, boosters, and the pyro trailer. And paying gold to skip levels.

So the flame thingies you get in missions are added to this count?

Yes and yes.

The flame thingies you see on the mission screen are “pyroleum cans” and are added to your count for advancing to another levell. The flame thingamabobs you see on the level screen are “pyroleum boosters” that are rewards for certain levels. Boosters are installed automatically and you get 400 cans for that battle regardless of the outcome.

if you don’t get your thingies and thingamabobs mixed up up it is as “Easy as Py.” (Don’t ask me what Py is. IDK).
