Operation Chariot was carried out by the British Commandos on March 28, 1942. As part of the operation, the HMS Campbeltown was made into a makeshift bomb and rammed into the gates of the Saint-Nazaire dry dock in France in order to isolate the Tirpitz in Norway. Today, we'll go over the history and heroism of these commandos and how they managed to save the Atlantic shipping routes, keeping Britain in the war!
