I recently got the panther 2 and need help on how to play it. I have all the modules but the tracks. I have been grinding it in madgames, but once that is over, I do not realy know how to play this tank. Does it play like a panther 1? (i am also new to forums)

Tho with the current abysmal state t8 meds are in now,i would say its one of the top performing ones....

The armour and the gun isn't as good as the panther 1(tier 4 tier) therefore play more conservativly and second line.

Accurate gun and nice gun dep

Tho its a big cat and be wary of exposing your weak sides

If you can, I’d free XP the modules as much as possible.  I honestly don’t see this tank much and I sold it awhile ago.  It’s got some problems with its mobility and armor.  Pen is okay but not great so I’d personally run calibrated shells (“CS” for when you have to shoot the IS# heavies and similar tanks.  At 213 pen with CS on AP,  it should give you some comfort on shooting the lower front plates of these heavies.  Plus you don’t get a big bump on pen with the APCR so the CS will help there.  
 

8 degrees of gun depression is workable.  Don’t trust your armor and play support even among the mediums.  Use ridges early.  Do not try to trade shots as you don’t have the alpha damage on your shells to trade.  This is especially important if there are heavies, you don’t want to peek a boom trade a 220 shot for a 400+ shot.  You want to snipe the tanks going after teammates.  If your team rushes you can rush but try not to be in front.  But definitely run with them as you have decent dpm, even with CS.

Thanks, i got most of the modules (everything but the tracks) by playing in mad games. I loved the panther, thx for the help. 

 

I run it with rammer becaus i have gotten used to playing with low pen (t49, kv2, leopard the t5 one, su152) but i will try it with CS later

 uh oh... ive heard terrible things about the stock e50... my one question, is it worse than the stock pta?

Not a great t8 med, compared to others like the t44... But the stock E50 grind will be horrible. That's all I can say.
